Everyone was to free their Hebrew slaves, both male and female; no one was to hold a fellow Hebrew in bondage.

All of them had to do this. That applied to male and female slaves alike. No one was allowed to hold another Hebrew as a slave.

that everyone should set free his Hebrew slaves, male and female, so that no one should enslave a Jew, his brother.

He had ordered all the people to free their Hebrew slaves— both men and women. No one was to keep a fellow Judean in bondage.

因為有多國和大君王必使迦勒底人作奴僕；我也必照他們的行為，按他們手所做的報應他們。」

「你弟兄中，若有一個希伯來男人或希伯來女人被賣給你，服事你六年，到第七年就要任他自由出去。

列國都必服事他和他的兒孫，直到他本國遭報的日期來到。那時，多國和大君王要使他作他們的奴僕。

我實在是從希伯來人之地被拐來的；我在這裏也沒有做過甚麼，叫他們把我下在監裏。」

他們必聽你的話。你和以色列的長老要去見埃及王，對他說：『耶和華－希伯來人的神遇見了我們，現在求你容我們往曠野去，走三天的路程，為要祭祀耶和華－我們的神。』

「你的弟兄若在你那裏漸漸窮乏，將自己賣給你，不可叫他像奴僕服事你。他要在你那裏像雇工人和寄居的一樣，要服事你直到禧年。到了禧年，他和他兒女要離開你，一同出去歸回本家，到他祖宗的地業那裏去。因為他們是我的僕人，是我從埃及地領出來的，不可賣為奴僕。不可嚴嚴地轄管他，只要敬畏你的神。至於你的奴僕、婢女，可以從你四圍的國中買。並且那寄居在你們中間的外人和他們的家屬，在你們地上所生的，你們也可以從其中買人；他們要作你們的產業。你們要將他們遺留給你們的子孫為產業，要永遠從他們中間揀出奴僕；只是你們的弟兄以色列人，你們不可嚴嚴地轄管。

你們倒是欺壓人、虧負人，況且所欺壓所虧負的就是弟兄。

非利士人哪，你們要剛強，要作大丈夫，免得作希伯來人的奴僕，如同他們作你們的奴僕一樣。你們要作大丈夫，與他們爭戰。」

我第八天受割禮；我是以色列族、便雅憫支派的人，是希伯來人所生的希伯來人。就律法說，我是法利賽人；

萬軍之耶和華說：「到那日，我必從你頸項上折斷仇敵的軛，扭開他的繩索；外邦人不得再使你作他們的奴僕。

非利士人聽見歡呼的聲音，就說：「在希伯來人營裏大聲歡呼，是甚麼緣故呢？」隨後就知道耶和華的約櫃到了營中。

二人就使非利士的防兵看見。非利士人說：「希伯來人從所藏的洞穴裏出來了！」
