Michal, David’s wife, told him, saying,“ If you don’t save your life tonight, tomorrow you will be killed.”

When he killed them, then they inquired after him. They returned and sought God earnestly.They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God, their redeemer.But they flattered him with their mouth, and lied to him with their tongue.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

All the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen, and his army overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baal Zephon.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

Pharaoh’s army had come out of Egypt; and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news of them, they broke up from Jerusalem.

“ Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.

Now therefore please forgive my sin again, and pray to Yahweh your God, that he may also take away from me this death.”Moses went out from Pharaoh, and prayed to Yahweh.Yahweh sent an exceedingly strong west wind, which took up the locusts, and drove them into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the borders of Egypt.But Yahweh hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go.

Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;
