While Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army and all the kingdoms and peoples in the empire he ruled were fighting against Jerusalem and all its surrounding towns, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and all his armies were fighting against Jerusalem. They were also fighting against all the towns around it. All the kingdoms and nations Nebuchadnezzar ruled over were helping him. At that time a message from the Lord came to Jeremiah. The Lord said,

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army and all the kingdoms of the earth under his dominion and all the peoples were fighting against Jerusalem and all of its cities:

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came with all the armies from the kingdoms he ruled, and he fought against Jerusalem and the towns of Judah. At that time this message came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,

The LORD spoke to Jeremiah while King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was attacking Jerusalem and the towns around it with a large army. This army consisted of troops from his own army and from the kingdoms and peoples of the lands under his dominion.

The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, with all his army, all the kingdoms of the earth that were under his dominion, and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and against all its cities, saying:

我必召北方列國之諸族咸至、各立其座於耶路撒冷邑門、環攻耶路撒冷之城垣、及猶大諸邑、此乃主所言、

王為諸王之王、天上之天主、賜王以國、以權、以能、以榮、居各地之人民、野獸、飛鳥、主使咸歸王掌握、主使咸歸王掌握或作主皆付於王手使王統轄一切、金首即王也、

當時巴比倫王之軍、圍困耶路撒冷、先知耶利米囚於獄院、在猶大王宮之側、

西底家九年、十月十日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率其軍旅、至耶路撒冷、在城之四圍、建營築叠以攻之、城被圍困、至西底家王十一年、四月九日、城中之民絕糧、饑甚、於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍追王、在耶利歌平原及之、王之眾軍、離之四散、迦勒底人執王、解至利比拉、巴比倫王前、遂審鞫之、乃屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、抉西底家之二目、繫以銅索、攜至巴比倫、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年、五月七日、其臣侍衛長尼布撒拉旦至耶路撒冷、以火焚主殿與王宮、及耶路撒冷之一切屋宇、並諸大宅、諸大宅或作諸顯者之室

尼布甲尼撒王頒詔天下各民、各國、各族、曰、願爾曹大享平康、

我以大力巨能、創造大地、與地上人民牲畜、我以地賜人、惟我所悅、今我以此諸國、賜我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、亦以田野之百獸賜之、為其使役、列國之民必服事之、延及子孫、迨滅其國之時已屆、則眾多之邦國、強大之君王、必勒令巴比倫王服事、

西底家九年、十月十日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率其軍旅至耶路撒冷、在城之四圍、建營築壘以攻之、城被圍困、至西底家王十一年、四月九日、城中之民絕糧、饑甚、於是城破、迦勒底人在城四圍、王與諸戰士由近王園兩城中之門、夜間出城而遁、望平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍追王、在耶利歌之平原及之、王之眾軍、離之四散、迦勒底人執王、解至哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王前、遂審鞫之、巴比倫王屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、又在利比拉屠戮猶大諸牧伯、抉西底家之兩目、繫以銅索、攜至巴比倫、囚之於獄、至於死日、

猶大王西底家九年十月、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率其全軍至耶路撒冷、圍困之、西底家十一年四月九日、城破、巴比倫王之侯伯、尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、宦官長撒西金、博士長尼甲沙利薛、及巴比倫王其餘一切侯伯咸至、坐於中門、

時巴比倫王之軍旅、攻耶路撒冷及猶大所餘之城邑、即拉吉、亞西加、猶大鞏固之城、惟留此二城、○

行惡於主前、先知耶利米以主命勸之、彼仍不自卑、尼布甲尼撒王使其指天主而誓、必永臣服、乃叛之、強項不馴、剛愎厥心、不歸主以色列之天主、諸祭司長與民眾亦多犯罪、效異邦人可憎之事、在耶路撒冷主之殿、主所別為聖者、彼反污之、主其列祖之天主因憐其民、惜其居所、日日日日原文作每晨遣使者訓誨之、彼訕笑天主之使者、藐視其言、侮辱侮辱或作譏諷其先知、故主震怒其民、不復援之、使迦勒底王來攻之、在聖殿中、以刃戮諸壯士、不恤幼男少女、老人白叟、主俱付於其手、

王歟、斯樹即王、王大大或作長而堅剛、盛大及天、權柄直至地極、

因天主賜之威權、各民、各國、各族、戰慄恐懼於其前、彼隨意生殺、隨意升降、
