Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.’

Then this city will bring me fame, joy, praise and honor. All the nations on earth will hear about the good things I do for this city. They will see the great success and peace I give it. Then they will be filled with wonder. And they will tremble with fear.”

And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.

Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth! The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.

滄海之珍寶、洲島之貨財、俱歸乎爾、爾見此而喜、心曠神怡。

耶和華曰、帶附人身、如此我使以色列族猶大家附我、為我民、聲名播揚、榮譽昭著、惟彼不聽。

於是我歌新詩、讚美我上帝、眾見而寅畏、惟耶和華是恃兮、

眾敵及四方異邦人聞此、知上帝助我、深以為恥。

我全能之主、爾之上帝耶和華、駐蹕爾中、必救援爾、矜憫為懷、加以寛宥、我則樂於為此、歡聲而呼、爾中有人、見郇邑被辱、不能守節期、憂心戚戚、若斯之人、我必撫集之、當是日凡敵爾者我必罰之、爾中步履趑趄者、我必手援之、為人驅逐者、我必撫恤之、昔爾散於列邦、受人侮慢、厥後余必使人揄揚爾焉、當是時反我必爾俘囚、撫集爾民、使歸故土、為眾目睹、天下億兆必譽美爾、我耶和華已言之矣。

我甚懽然、咥其笑兮、謳歌不息、異邦中人曰、耶和華大施厥祐兮、我曰、耶和華果施厥祐、使我欣喜兮、

後必歸誠、求其上帝耶和華、及其王大闢、迨至末日、寅畏耶和華、頌其仁慈。

以耶路撒冷、為我駐蹕之所、列邦之民必詣斯邑、尊崇我名、惡念不生、惡事弗作。

耶和華又曰、我必復建以色列國、譬彼處女、執鼗相從、舞蹈而出、忻喜懽忭、

尼布甲尼撒擄諸長老、祭司、先知、庶民、自耶路撒冷、至巴比倫、亦擄約雅斤王與后、以及宦豎、暨猶大耶路撒冷方伯、木工鐵工、自耶路撒冷去時猶大王西底家、使沙番子以利亞薩、希勒家子其馬哩、往巴比倫、覲尼布甲尼撒王、先知耶利米託彼、寄書一函、自耶路撒冷達被擄之人、書曰、

何為於所居埃及之地、造作偶像、焚香奉事他上帝、干我震怒、為我棄絶、為列邦人咒詛、凌侮、皆由自取。

耶路撒冷被圍之時、我必使其居民與猶大全家為爵、俾列邦飲之、至於酩酊、

異邦之人、素彰厥能、見我所為、抱愧蒙羞、掩口塞耳、必舐塵若蛇、出穴若蟲、寅畏我、亦畏懼爾。

萬有之主耶和華又曰、列邦眾邑之民將至、彼此相語、莫若速往、籲萬有之主耶和華、而求其恩、我亦偕往、強大之邦、眾多之民、將詣耶路撒冷、籲萬有之主耶和華、而求其恩。萬有之主耶和華曰、當是之日、列國中十人、將執猶大族一人之衿、曰、我聞上帝祐爾、故欲與爾偕行。

列邦之民、聞耶和華擊敗以色列族之敵、無不畏葸。

異邦族類、必聞而畏、非利士民必悚然懼、以東諸伯必觳觫、摩押英豪必戰慄、迦南居民必喪膽。無不驚駭、爾施厥能敵不敢動、屹然如石、待耶和華所得之民經其地。

王詔既至、各州各邑、猶大人知之、即於是日、共慶綏安、設宴忻喜、斯土之民畏猶大人入其會者甚多。

列國君民將觀爾福祉、睹爾輝煌、耶和華錫爾以新名。爾之上帝耶和華佑爾、視爾若花冠、若冕旒。

則我必棄此殿宇、與昔棄示羅無異、使此邑為列邦所詛。

人稱民曰聖民、耶和華所拯救者、稱斯國曰樂國、耶和華所不遺棄者。
