For this is what the Lord says:‘ David shall not lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;

“因为耶和华如此说：大卫必永不断人坐在以色列家的宝座上；

“因为耶和华如此说：大卫家必永远不断有人坐在以色列家的宝座上；

“因为耶和华如此说：大卫家必永远不断有人坐在以色列家的宝座上；

因为耶和华说，‘我应许大卫的后裔必永远统治以色列，

因为耶和华这样说：‘大卫家必不断有人坐在以色列家的王位上。

「因為耶和華如此說：大衛必永不斷人坐在以色列家的寶座上；

「因為耶和華如此說：大衛家必永遠不斷有人坐在以色列家的寶座上；

「因為耶和華如此說：大衛家必永遠不斷有人坐在以色列家的寶座上；

因為耶和華說，『我應許大衛的後裔必永遠統治以色列，

因為耶和華這樣說：‘大衛家必不斷有人坐在以色列家的王位上。

『因為永恆主這麼說：大衛家總必不斷地會有人坐以色列家的王位；

蓋耶和華曰、大衛必永不乏人、居以色列家之位、

耶和華又曰、大闢必有後、踐以色列國位。

主如是云、大衛家永不乏人坐於國位、治理以色列族、

For this is what the Lord says:‘ David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of Israel,

The Lord says,“ David will always have a son to sit on the throne of Israel.

“ For thus says the Lord: David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,

For this is what the Lord says: David will have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel forever.

“ For this is what the LORD says: David will never fail to have a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel.

“ For thus says the Lord:‘ David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;

For thus saith Jehovah: David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

“ For this is what the Lord says: David will never fail to have a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel.

For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

For I, the LORD, promise:“ David will never lack a successor to occupy the throne over the nation of Israel.

For Yahweh says:“ David will never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel.

so that the Lord may fulfill His promise which He spoke regarding me, saying,‘ If your sons are careful about their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and all their soul, you shall not be deprived of a man to occupy the throne of Israel.’

So I will establish his descendants forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.“ If his sons abandon My Law And do not walk in My judgments,If they violate My statutes And do not keep My commandments,Then I will punish their wrongdoing with the rod, And their guilt with afflictions.But I will not withhold My favor from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.I will not violate My covenant, Nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.His descendants shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me.It shall be established forever like the moon, And a witness in the sky is faithful.” Selah

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

When your days are fulfilled that you must go to be with your fathers, then I will set up one of your descendants after you, who will be from your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.I will be his father and he shall be My son; and I will not take My favor away from him, as I took it from him who was before you.But I will settle him in My house and in My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.” ’ ”

There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

Now then, Lord, God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him, saying,‘ You shall not be deprived of a man to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful about their way, to walk before Me as you have walked.’

I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me; when he does wrong, I will discipline him with a rod of men and with strokes of sons of mankind,but My favor shall not depart from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from you.Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”

And now You have decided to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You; for You, Lord, have blessed, and it is blessed forever.”

therefore this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Jonadab the son of Rechab will not lack a man to stand before Me always.” ’ ”

May it turn upon the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and may there not be eliminated from the house of Joab someone who suffers a discharge, or has leprosy, or holds the spindle, or falls by the sword, or lacks bread.”
