惟彼叛巴比倫王、遣使至埃及、欲其給以馬匹軍旅、如是能亨通乎、行是事者、得免難乎、爽約能遠害乎、

俱必遷於巴比倫、存於其所、迨我眷顧斯民之日、其時我必返之、復於舊所、耶和華言之矣、

抉西底家之目、縶之以鏈、欲攜至巴比倫、

爾當曰、主耶和華云、厥樹豈得繁盛乎、彼鷹豈不拔其根、摘其果、俾其憔悴、嫩葉枯槁乎、毋庸強臂眾民、拔其根株、雖種植之、詎得繁盛、豈不於所植之畦、為東風所搖撼、而盡枯槁乎、○

眾至、與迦勒底人戰、我因斯民之惡、掩面不顧此邑、必以我發忿震怒所殺之屍、充其第宅、

爾必以手抱首、自彼而出、蓋爾所恃者、耶和華棄之、爾不能因之得利達、

猶大王西底家歟、其聽耶和華言、耶和華論爾曰、爾必不亡於刃、必安然而逝、人必為爾焚物、如為爾之列祖先王然、亦為爾哀悼曰、哀哉我主、耶和華曰、我已言之矣、

上帝偕我、為我首領、其祭司吹角、向爾發聲示警、以色列人歟、勿與爾列祖之上帝耶和華戰、蓋爾必不利達也、

我必張網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至迦勒底地之巴比倫、彼雖死於其地、而不得見之、

攻爾之迦勒底人、爾縱擊其全軍、惟遺受創者於其中、彼必自幕而起、火焚斯邑、○

上帝之靈感祭司耶何耶大子撒迦利亞、乃立於上、告民曰、上帝云、爾何干耶和華之命、致不亨通、爾既棄耶和華、彼亦棄爾、

以色列之上帝耶和華曰、爾所持之戰具、在於城外、以戰巴比倫王、及圍爾之迦勒底人、我必使之反退、集於邑中、我必震怒發忿、自以高舉之手、有力之臂攻爾、

智慧明哲謀畧、無有能敵耶和華者、

摩西曰、奚違耶和華命、此行不利、
