你要说，主耶和华如此说：这葡萄树岂能发旺呢？鹰岂不拔出它的根来，芟除它的果子，使它枯干，使它发的嫩叶都枯干了吗？也不用大力和多民，就拔出它的根来。葡萄树虽然栽种，岂能发旺呢？一经东风，岂不全然枯干吗？必在生长的畦中枯干了。”

人要与迦勒底人争战，正是拿死尸充满这房屋，就是我在怒气和忿怒中所杀的人，因他们的一切恶，我就掩面不顾这城。

你也必两手抱头从埃及出来；因为耶和华已经弃绝你所倚靠的，你必不因他们得顺利。”

犹大王西底家啊，你还要听耶和华的话。耶和华论到你如此说：‘你必不被刀剑杀死，你必平安而死，人必为你焚烧物件，好像为你列祖，就是在你以前的先王焚烧一般。人必为你举哀说：哀哉！我主啊。耶和华说，这话是我说的。’”

率领我们的是神，我们这里也有神的祭司拿号向你们吹出大声。以色列人哪，不要与耶和华你们列祖的神争战，因你们必不能亨通。”

我必将我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中缠住。我必带他到迦勒底人之地的巴比伦；他虽死在那里，却看不见那地。

你们即便杀败了与你们争战的迦勒底全军，但剩下受伤的人也必各人从帐棚里起来，用火焚烧这城。’”

那时，神的灵感动祭司耶何耶大的儿子撒迦利亚，他就站在上面对民说：“神如此说：你们为何干犯耶和华的诫命，以致不得亨通呢？因为你们离弃耶和华，所以他也离弃你们。”

‘耶和华以色列的神如此说：我要使你们手中的兵器，就是你们在城外与巴比伦王和围困你们的迦勒底人打仗的兵器翻转过来，又要使这些都聚集在这城中。并且我要在怒气、忿怒，和大恼恨中，用伸出来的手，并大能的膀臂，亲自攻击你们；

没有人能以智慧、聪明、谋略敌挡耶和华。
