是因以色列人和犹大人一切的邪恶，就是他们和他们的君王、首领、祭司、先知，并犹大的众人，以及耶路撒冷的居民所行的，惹我发怒。

皆因以色列人與猶大人、所行干我震怒之惡事、彼之列王、侯伯、祭司、先知、猶大諸人、耶路撒冷居民皆然、

The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done— they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.

The people of Israel and Judah have made me very angry. They have done many evil things. They, their kings and officials have sinned. So have their priests and prophets. And the people of Judah and Jerusalem have also sinned.

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah that they did to provoke me to anger— their kings and their officials, their priests and their prophets, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“ The sins of Israel and Judah— the sins of the people of Jerusalem, the kings, the officials, the priests, and the prophets— have stirred up my anger.

because of all the evil the Israelites and Judeans have done to anger me— they, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem.

永恆主啊，是我們滿臉蒙羞：慚愧的是我們的王、和首領跟父老，因為我們犯罪得罪了你。

嗐！犯罪的國，罪孽沉重的人民，作壞事的種，敗壞的兒女！他們離棄了永恆主，藐視以色列之聖者，跟他疏遠。你們為甚麼悖逆了又悖逆，要繼續受責打呢？嘿，滿頭創痍，滿心全發暈。從腳掌到頭頂、沒有一處完全；盡是創傷、鞭痕、和流血的傷口；沒有擠乾，沒有綁紮，沒有用膏油滋潤着。

『賊被捉拿着、怎樣慚愧，以色列家也必怎樣慚愧：他們、他們的列王和首領、他們的祭司和神言人、都慚愧；

你的大官倔強要造反，跟盜賊作伴；個個都喜愛賄賂，追求私酬；他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的案件呈不到他們面前。

自從我們列祖的日子到今天、我們的罪過都很大；並且為了我們的罪愆的緣故，我們和我們的王、跟祭司、都被交於四圍各地的列王手中，交於刀劍之下，被擄掠、被搶奪、滿臉蒙羞，正如今日一樣。

我說：雅各的首領啊，你們要聽；以色列家的官長啊，你們要留心；你們的本分不是應當明白公平麼？你們這些恨惡良善、喜愛壞事、從我人民身上剝奪了皮、從他們骨頭上剔肉的；你們這些喫我人民的肉、剝去他們的皮、打折他們的骨頭，切開像肉塊在鍋裏，像肉在釜中的。那時這些壞人必向永恆主哀呼，永恆主卻不應他們；那時他必掩面不顧他們，因為他們幹出壞事來。論到一些神言人、那些使我人民走迷了路的、永恆主是這麼說的：他們牙齒間若有可嚼之時，他們就喊叫「平安」；人若對他們口中無所供給時，他們就開始向這人宣戰了。

有禍啊，這叛逆的城、被血污染、欺負人的城啊！她不聽主的聲音，不接受管教；她不倚靠永恆主，不親近她的上帝。她中間的首領是吼叫的獅子；她的審判官是晚上的豺狼，一點啃骨肉也不留到早晨。她的神言人是鹵莽詭詐的人；她的祭司褻瀆聖的所在，對禮節規矩橫加蹧蹋。

她的王侯在那中間正如吼叫的獅子抓撕所抓到之物；人的性命他們吞滅了，資財和珍寶他們拿取了；他們使寡婦在那中間增多了。她的祭司強解了我的禮節規矩，褻瀆了我的聖物；聖的和俗的他們都不分別，不潔淨的潔淨的他們也不使人分辨，我的安息日他們也掩目不顧，以致我在他們中間都被褻慢了。她的首領在她裏邊正彷彿豺狼抓撕所抓到之物；他們行兇流人的血，殺滅人的性命，要得不義之財。她的神言人用灰水給他們塗抹上，見虛謊的異象，給他們行謊詐的占卜、說：「主永恆主這麼說」，其實永恆主並沒有說。這國的人民一味欺壓人，慣行搶奪，欺負困苦貧窮的，欺壓寄居的、毫無公道。

因此永恆主從以色列中剪除了頭與尾，就在一日之間、剪除棕枝與燈草——（長老和體面人乃是頭；以虛假指教人的、神言人乃是尾。

『看哪，以色列的眾首領各逞其權勢都在你中間要流人血呢。

『現在呢、我們的上帝啊，至大、至有能力、至可畏懼、守約守堅愛的上帝啊，我們、我們的王和首領、我們的祭司和神言人、我們的列祖和你的眾民、從亞述列王的日子直到今日所遭遇的一切艱難困苦、求你不要看為小事。雖然如此、關於一切臨到我們的事、你總是對的；因為你所行的是誠信，我們所作的是邪惡。我們的王、我們的首領和祭司、以及我們的列祖、都不遵行你的律法，不留心聽從你的誡命法令、你所鄭重警諭他們的。

我們也沒有聽從你僕人、眾神言人們、那些奉你名向我們的王和首領跟父老及國中眾民說了話的人。

雅各家的首領啊，你們要聽這話；以色列家的官長啊，你們要留心聽；你們這些厭惡公平、屈枉一切正直、以人血建造錫安，以罪孽建築耶路撒冷的。其首領、為了賄賂而行審判，其祭司為了雇價而指教禮節，其神言人為了銀錢而行占卜，居然倚靠永恆主而宣稱說：『永恆主不是在我們中間麼？災禍必不會臨到我們。』故此因你們的緣故、錫安必被耕種為田地，耶路撒冷必變為亂堆；這殿的山必成為森林之山丘。
