皆因以色列人與猶大人、所行干我震怒之惡事、彼之列王、侯伯、祭司、先知、猶大諸人、耶路撒冷居民皆然、

The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done— they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem.

The people of Israel and Judah have made me very angry. They have done many evil things. They, their kings and officials have sinned. So have their priests and prophets. And the people of Judah and Jerusalem have also sinned.

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah that they did to provoke me to anger— their kings and their officials, their priests and their prophets, the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“ The sins of Israel and Judah— the sins of the people of Jerusalem, the kings, the officials, the priests, and the prophets— have stirred up my anger.

耶和華啊！我們和我們的君王、領袖、列祖，都滿面羞愧，因為我們得罪了你。

嗐！犯罪的國，罪孽深重的子民，行惡的子孫，敗壞的兒女！他們離棄了耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，他們轉離了他。你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，還要受責打嗎？你們整個頭都受了傷，整個心都發昏了。從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處是完全的；盡是創傷、鞭痕和流血的傷口；沒有擠乾淨傷口，沒有包紮，也沒有用膏油滋潤。

“賊被捉拿時怎樣羞愧，以色列家和他們的君王、領袖、祭司和先知，也都怎樣羞愧。

你的官長存心悖逆，與盜賊同夥；人都貪愛賄賂，追索私酬；他們不替孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

從我們列祖的日子直到今日，我們罪惡深重，由於我們的罪孽，我們和我們的王，以及祭司，都被交在各地的列王手中：被刀殺、被擄掠、被搶奪，丟臉蒙羞，就像今天的光景一樣。

我說：“雅各的首領，你們要聽，以色列家的官長，你們也要聽；難道你們不知道公平嗎？然而，你們恨惡良善，喜愛邪惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉。你們吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打斷他們的骨頭，切成像鍋裡的塊，像釜中的肉塊。那時，他們要向耶和華呼求，耶和華卻不應允他們。到那時，耶和華必掩面不顧他們，因為他們行了惡事。”關於那些使我民走迷路的先知，耶和華這樣說：“他們的牙齒有所咀嚼的時候，就大叫‘平安’；誰不把食物給他們吃，他們就攻擊那人。”

這叛逆、污穢、欺壓人的城有禍了！她不聽話，也不受管教；她不倚靠耶和華，也不親近她的神。城中的領袖都是咆哮的獅子，城中的審判官是夜間的豺狼，甚麼都不留到早晨。城中的先知都是輕浮詭詐的人；城中的祭司褻瀆聖物，違犯律法。

其中的先知叛逆，像吼叫的獅子撕碎獵物；他們把人吞吃，搶奪財物和珍寶，使其中寡婦的數目增多。這地的祭司違反我的律法，褻瀆我的聖物；他們不分別聖俗，也不教導人分辨甚麼是潔淨的和不潔淨的，又掩目不理我的安息日，以致我在他們中間被褻瀆。其中的官長好像撕碎獵物的豺狼，流人的血，滅人的命，為要得不義之財。這地的先知用灰泥給他們粉刷牆壁，為他們見虛假的異象，行騙人的占卜，說：‘主耶和華這樣說’，其實當時耶和華並沒有說話。這地的人民常常欺壓人，慣行搶掠，虧待困苦窮乏的人，毫無公理地去欺壓寄居的人。

因此，耶和華在一日之間，必從以色列中剪除頭和尾、棕枝與蘆葦。長老和尊貴人就是頭；用謊言教導人的先知就是尾。

看哪！以色列的領袖們恃著自己的能力，在你裡面流人的血。

“我們的神啊，你是至大、全能、至可畏、守約施慈愛的神，現在求你不要把我們、我們的君王和領袖、我們的祭司和先知、我們的列祖和你的眾民，從亞述列王的日子直到今日所遭遇的一切苦難，看為小事。在一切臨到我們身上的事上，你都是公義的；因為你所行的是信實的，我們所行的是邪惡的。我們的君王和領袖，我們的祭司和列祖，都沒有遵行你的律法，也沒有留心聽從你的誡命和你向他們鄭重的警告。

沒有聽從你的僕人眾先知，他們奉你的名向我們的君王、領袖、列祖和國中所有的人民說話。

雅各家的首領，你們要聽這個，以色列家的官長，你們也要聽；你們厭惡公平，屈枉正直，用人血建錫安，以罪孽造耶路撒冷。城中的首領為賄賂而審判，祭司為薪俸而教導，先知為銀子說默示，他們竟倚靠耶和華，說：“耶和華不是在我們中間嗎？災禍必不會臨到我們身上。”所以，為你們的緣故，錫安必像被耕種的田地，耶路撒冷必變為亂堆，這殿的山要成為叢林中的高岡。
