The Babylonians who are attacking this city will come in and set it on fire; they will burn it down, along with the houses where the people aroused my anger by burning incense on the roofs to Baal and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.

The armies of Babylon are now attacking this city. They will come in and set it on fire. They will burn it down. They will burn down the houses where the people made me very angry. They burned incense on their roofs to the god named Baal. And they poured out drink offerings to other gods.

The Chaldeans who are fighting against this city shall come and set this city on fire and burn it, with the houses on whose roofs offerings have been made to Baal and drink offerings have been poured out to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

The Babylonians outside the walls will come in and set fire to the city. They will burn down all these houses where the people provoked my anger by burning incense to Baal on the rooftops and by pouring out liquid offerings to other gods.

The Babylonian soldiers that are attacking this city will break into it and set it on fire. They will burn it down along with the houses where people have made me angry by offering sacrifices to the god Baal and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods on their rooftops.

The Chaldeans, who fight against this city, will come and set this city on fire, and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they have offered incense to Baal, and poured out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

耶和华说：我向这城变脸，降祸不降福；这城必交在巴比伦王的手中，他必用火焚烧。”

迦勒底人焚烧神的殿，拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙，用火烧了城里的宫殿，毁坏了城里宝贵的器皿。

我们定要成就我们口中所出的一切话，向天后烧香、浇奠祭，按着我们与我们列祖、君王、首领在犹大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上素常所行的一样；因为那时我们吃饱饭、享福乐，并不见灾祸。自从我们停止向天后烧香、浇奠祭，我们倒缺乏一切，又因刀剑饥荒灭绝。”妇女说：“我们向天后烧香、浇奠祭，做天后像的饼供奉她，向她浇奠祭，是外乎我们的丈夫吗？”

万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：你们和你们的妻都口中说、手里做，说：‘我们定要偿还所许的愿，向天后烧香、浇奠祭。’现在你们只管坚定所许的愿而偿还吧！

孩子捡柴，父亲烧火，妇女抟面做饼，献给天后，又向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。”

迦勒底人用火焚烧王宫和百姓的房屋，又拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙。

“耶和华以色列的神如此说：犹大王打发你们来求问我，你们要如此对他说：‘那出来帮助你们法老的军队必回埃及本国去。迦勒底人必再来攻打这城，并要攻取，用火焚烧。耶和华如此说：你们不要自欺说“迦勒底人必定离开我们”，因为他们必不离开。你们即便杀败了与你们争战的迦勒底全军，但剩下受伤的人也必各人从帐棚里起来，用火焚烧这城。’”

王就大怒，发兵除灭那些凶手，烧毁他们的城。

耶和华发怒成就他所定的，倒出他的烈怒；在锡安使火着起，烧毁锡安的根基。

用火焚烧耶和华的殿和王宫，又焚烧耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大户家的房屋。

你的圣邑变为旷野。锡安变为旷野；耶路撒冷成为荒场。我们圣洁华美的殿，就是我们列祖赞美你的所在被火焚烧；我们所羡慕的美地尽都荒废。

“无论哪一邦哪一国，不肯服侍这巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，也不把颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下，我必用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫刑罚那邦，直到我藉巴比伦王的手将他们毁灭。这是耶和华说的。至于你们，不可听从你们的先知和占卜的、圆梦的、观兆的，以及行邪术的；他们告诉你们说：‘你们不至服侍巴比伦王。’他们向你们说假预言，要叫你们迁移，远离本地，以致我将你们赶出去，使你们灭亡。

你们若不听从我，不以安息日为圣日，仍在安息日担担子，进入耶路撒冷的各门，我必在各门中点火；这火也必烧毁耶路撒冷的宫殿，不能熄灭。”
