主曰、是日後、我與以色列族所將立之約即此、我將以我律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我為彼之天主、彼為我之民、

爾明為基督之書、為我所作、非書以墨、乃書以永生天主之神、非鐫於石版、乃鐫於心之肉版、

主曰此日後、我將以我律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、此乃我與彼所立之約、

我天主歟、我樂遵主之旨意、主之律法、存在我心、

以清水灑於爾身、使爾為潔、凡爾污穢之事、及拜偶像之邪、我悉滌除、使爾為潔、賦爾以新心、使爾衷存更新之志、自爾體中去其剛愎之心、剛愎之心原文作石心賜爾以柔順之心、柔順之心原文作肉心以我神賦爾、使爾從我律例、守我法度而行之、

我之居所、既在其中、我必為其天主、彼為我之民、

蓋致生之聖神、因基督耶穌之法、已釋我於罪及死之法、律法因肉體無力、不能滅罪、惟天主為罪遣其子降生肉體、狀如罪人之身、而滅身之罪矣、使我儕不從肉體而從聖神、可成律法之義、蓋從肉體者體肉體之事、從聖神者體聖神之事、體肉體、死也、體聖神、生且安、體肉體、乃與天主為仇、因不服天主之法、且不能服也、故凡從肉體者、不能見悅於天主、

昔摩西之面有榮、其榮雖暫而將廢、以色列人不能注目觀之、致死之儀文、鐫於石版者、其役尚有此榮、況聖神之役、其榮不更大乎、

悅義而心存我法之人、當聽我言、毋畏人之譏誚、毋因人之毀謗而喪膽、

聖神所結之果、即仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、慈悲、良善、忠信、溫柔、節制、如此者、無律法禁止、
