男子產育、未之有也、今見男子手捧腹、色乍青、若將產之婦、誠何故與。

Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale?

Ask and see. Can a man give birth to children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach? Each of them is acting like a woman having a baby. Every face is as pale as death.

Ask now, and see, can a man bear a child? Why then do I see every man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor? Why has every face turned pale?

Now let me ask you a question: Do men give birth to babies? Then why do they stand there, ashen faced, hands pressed against their sides like a woman in labor?

Ask and see whether a male can give birth. Why then do I see every man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor and every face turned pale?

Ask yourselves this and consider it carefully: Have you ever seen a man give birth to a baby? Why then do I see all these strong men grabbing their stomachs in pain like a woman giving birth? And why do their faces turn so deathly pale?

Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned pale?

现在却空虚、荒凉，一无所有；人心惊惶，两膝发抖，全身疼痛，面无血色。

在他们面前，万民苦恼，人人脸红耳赤。

我听到好像妇人产痛的叫声，正像生头胎孩子的妇人疼痛的叫声，就是锡安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的声音，他们喘着气，伸开双手，说：“哎！我有祸了！在那些杀人者跟前，我发昏了！”

生产的疼痛要临到他身上，他却是没有智慧的人，因为产期到了，他还迟延不破胎而出。

我们听到有关他们的消息，手就发软；痛苦紧紧抓住我们，我们疼痛好像正在生产的妇人。

他们在那里战栗恐惧；他们痛苦好像妇人分娩时一样。

因此，我满腰疼痛，痛苦抓住我，好像产妇的痛苦一样；我绞痛弯腰至听不见，我惊惶至看不到。

住在黎巴嫩，在香柏林中搭窝的啊！有痛苦临到你，像产妇剧痛的时候，你要怎样呻吟呢？”

人正在说平安稳妥的时候，毁灭性的灾祸就突然临到他们，好像生产的痛苦临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

妇人生产的时候会有忧愁，因为她的时候到了；但生了孩子以后，就不再记住那痛苦了，因为欢喜有一个人生到世上来。现在你们也有忧愁；但我要再见你们，你们的心就会喜乐，你们的喜乐是没有人能够夺去的。

哀号吧！因为耶和华的日子近了，这日子来到，好像毁灭从全能者那里来到一样。因此，各人的手都必发软，各人也必心惊胆战。他们都要惊惶失措，疼痛与痛苦必抓住他们；他们必绞痛，像生产中的妇人一样。他们在惊愕中彼此对望，面色像火焰一般。看哪！耶和华的日子快来到，必有残忍、愤恨与烈怒，使这地荒凉，使其中的罪人灭绝。

因此，曾经救赎亚伯拉罕的耶和华，论到雅各家时，这样说：“雅各今后必不再羞愧，他的面容也不再变为苍白，

巴比伦王听了有关他们的消息，手就发软；痛苦紧紧抓住他，他疼痛好像正在生产的妇人。

现在你为什么大声呼喊？难道你们中间没有君王吗？或是你的谋士灭亡了，以致疼痛抓紧你，好像临产的妇人呢？锡安的女子啊！你要疼痛劬劳，好像临产的妇人；因为现在你要从城里出来，住在田野，一定要到巴比伦去；在那里你要蒙拯救，在那里耶和华必救赎你，脱离仇敌的掌握。

就脸色大变，心意惊惶，两脚无力，双膝彼此相碰。

大马士革失去勇气，转身逃跑；但恐慌抓住它，忧虑痛苦把它捉住，像正在生产的妇人的痛苦一样。

耶和华立你自己结交（“结交”原文作“教导”）的盟友为首领管辖你，那时，你还有什么话说呢？痛苦岂不把你抓住，好像妇女生产时的痛苦一样吗？
