「你當寄信給一切被擄的人說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他使你們倚靠謊言；

“你当寄信给一切被掳的人说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他使你们倚靠谎言；

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你当送信给所有被掳的人，说：‘耶和华论到尼希兰人示玛雅说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，使你们倚靠谎言，而我并没有差遣他，

“你派人送信给所有被掳的人，说，‘耶和华说祂没有差遣尼希兰人示玛雅，他却说预言，诱使你们听信谎言，

“你要寄信给所有被掳的人，说：‘论到尼希兰人示玛雅，耶和华这样说：因为示玛雅向你们说预言，我并没有差遣他，他竟使你们信靠谎言。

「你當送信給所有被擄的人，說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，使你們倚靠謊言，而我並沒有差遣他，

「你當送信給所有被擄的人，說：『耶和華論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，使你們倚靠謊言，而我並沒有差遣他，

「你派人送信給所有被擄的人，說，『耶和華說祂沒有差遣尼希蘭人示瑪雅，他卻說預言，誘使你們聽信謊言，

“你要寄信給所有被擄的人，說：‘論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅，耶和華這樣說：因為示瑪雅向你們說預言，我並沒有差遣他，他竟使你們信靠謊言。

『你要寄信給所有流亡的人說：「永恆主論尼希蘭人示瑪雅是這麼說的：因為示瑪雅向你們傳神言，而我並沒有差遣了他，他竟使你們倚靠着虛假，

致書告諸俘囚曰、耶和華論尼希蘭人示瑪雅云、緣示瑪雅與爾預言、我未遣之、惟彼使爾妄誕是恃、

爾當致書、告諸俘囚者曰、尼希蘭人示罵雅、予耶和華未之遣也、彼傳言以惑眾、

爾當致書、告諸被擄者曰、主如是云、尼希蘭人示瑪雅、我未嘗遣之、彼竟於爾妄傳預言、使爾倚賴虛誑、

“ Send this message to all the exiles:‘ This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies,

“ Send a message to all the people who were taken away. Tell them,‘ The Lord speaks about Shemaiah, the Nehelamite. He says,“ Shemaiah has prophesied to you. But I did not send him. He has made you trust in lies.

“ Send to all the exiles, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah of Nehelam: Because Shemaiah had prophesied to you when I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie,

“ Send an open letter to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Since he has prophesied to you when I did not send him and has tricked you into believing his lies,

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the LORD says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

“ Send word to all the exiles, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, although I did not send him, and he has made you trust in a lie,”

Send to all those in captivity, saying, Thus says the Lord concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I have not sent him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie—

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith Jehovah concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he hath caused you to trust in a lie;

“ Send a message to all the exiles, saying: This is what the Lord says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite. Because Shemaiah prophesied to you, though I did not send him, and made you trust a lie,

Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:

“ Send a message to all the exiles in Babylon. Tell them,‘ The LORD has spoken about Shemaiah the Nehelamite.“ Shemaiah has spoken to you as a prophet even though I did not send him. He is making you trust in a lie.

“ Send to all of the captives, saying,‘ Yahweh says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;”

因為他們託我的名對你們說假預言，我並沒有差遣他們。這是耶和華說的。

我不使義人傷心，你們卻以謊話使他傷心，又堅固惡人的手，使他不回頭離開惡道得以救活。你們就不再見虛假的異象，也不再行占卜的事；我必救我的百姓脫離你們的手；你們就知道我是耶和華。」

耶和華對我說：「那些先知託我的名說假預言，我並沒有打發他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話；他們向你們預言的，乃是虛假的異象和占卜，並虛無的事，以及本心的詭詐。所以耶和華如此說：論到託我名說預言的那些先知，我並沒有打發他們；他們還說這地不能有刀劍饑荒，其實那些先知必被刀劍饑荒滅絕。

所以主耶和華如此說：「因你們說的是虛假，見的是謊詐，我就與你們反對。這是主耶和華說的。我的手必攻擊那見虛假異象、用謊詐占卜的先知，他們必不列在我百姓的會中，不錄在以色列家的冊上，也不進入以色列地；你們就知道我是主耶和華。因為他們誘惑我的百姓，說：『平安！』其實沒有平安，就像有人立起牆壁，他們倒用未泡透的灰抹上。所以你要對那些抹上未泡透灰的人說：『牆要倒塌，必有暴雨漫過。大冰雹啊，你們要降下，狂風也要吹裂這牆。』這牆倒塌之後，人豈不問你們說：『你們抹上未泡透的灰在哪裏呢？』」所以主耶和華如此說：「我要發怒，使狂風吹裂這牆，在怒中使暴雨漫過，又發怒降下大冰雹，毀滅這牆。我要這樣拆毀你們那未泡透灰所抹的牆，拆平到地，以致根基露出，牆必倒塌，你們也必在其中滅亡；你們就知道我是耶和華。我要這樣向牆和用未泡透灰抹牆的人成就我怒中所定的，並要對你們說：『牆和抹牆的人都沒有了。』這抹牆的就是以色列的先知，他們指着耶路撒冷說預言，為這城見了平安的異象，其實沒有平安。這是主耶和華說的。」

這二人是在以色列中行了醜事，與鄰舍的妻行淫，又假託我名說我未曾吩咐他們的話。知道的是我，作見證的也是我。這是耶和華說的。」「論到尼希蘭人示瑪雅，你當說，

我沒有打發那些先知，他們竟自奔跑；我沒有對他們說話，他們竟自預言。

於是先知耶利米對先知哈拿尼雅說：「哈拿尼雅啊，你應當聽！耶和華並沒有差遣你，你竟使這百姓倚靠謊言。所以耶和華如此說：看哪，我要叫你去世，你今年必死，因為你向耶和華說了叛逆的話。」這樣，先知哈拿尼雅當年七月間就死了。

從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速地滅亡。
