彼在以色列中、行愚妄之事、淫其鄰之妻、偽託我名、言我所未命者、我知之、亦證之、耶和華言之矣、○

因彼作惡於以色列族、淫人婦女。又藉我名、誘惑民人、違予所命、我耶和華鑒察之矣。

For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they have uttered lies— which I did not authorize. I know it and am a witness to it,” declares the Lord.

我在耶路撒冷的先知中曾见可憎恶的事；他们行奸淫，做事虚妄，又坚固恶人的手，甚至无人回头离开他的恶。他们在我面前都像所多玛；耶路撒冷的居民都像蛾摩拉。

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们，施行审判。我必速速作见证，警戒行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、亏负人之工价的、欺压寡妇孤儿的、屈枉寄居的，和不敬畏我的。”

并且被造的没有一样在他面前不显然的；原来万物在那与我们有关系的主眼前，都是赤露敞开的。

万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：不要被你们中间的先知和占卜的诱惑，也不要听信自己所做的梦；因为他们托我的名对你们说假预言，我并没有差遣他们。这是耶和华说的。

因我的眼目察看他们的一切行为；他们不能在我面前遮掩，他们的罪孽也不能在我眼前隐藏。

万军之耶和华以色列的神论到哥赖雅的儿子亚哈，并玛西雅的儿子西底家，如此说：“他们是托我名向你们说假预言的，我必将他们交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手中；他要在你们眼前杀害他们。

因为，人所行的道都在耶和华眼前；他也修平人一切的路。

“我没有打发那些先知，他们竟自奔跑；我没有对他们说话，他们竟自预言。

“你要写信给老底嘉教会的使者，说：‘那为阿们的，为诚信真实见证的，在神创造万物之上为元首的，说：

耶和华说：“我岂为近处的神呢？不也为远处的神吗？”耶和华说：“人岂能在隐密处藏身，使我看不见他呢？”耶和华说：“我岂不充满天地吗？

并那诚实作见证的、从死里首先复活、为世上君王元首的耶稣基督，有恩惠、平安归与你们！他爱我们，用自己的血使我们脱离罪恶，

你们偷盗，杀害，奸淫，起假誓，向巴力烧香，并随从素不认识的别神，且来到这称为我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又说：‘我们可以自由了。’你们这样的举动是要行那些可憎的事吗？

但神对恶人说：“你怎敢传说我的律例，口中提到我的约呢？其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语丢在背后。你见了盗贼就乐意与他同伙，又与行奸淫的人一同有份。

那些随肉身、纵污秽的情欲、轻慢主治之人的，更是如此。他们胆大任性，毁谤在尊位的，也不知惧怕。就是天使，虽然力量权能更大，还不用毁谤的话在主面前告他们。但这些人好像没有灵性，生来就是畜类，以备捉拿宰杀的。他们毁谤所不晓得的事，正在败坏人的时候，自己必遭遇败坏。行的不义，就得了不义的工价。这些人喜爱白昼宴乐，他们已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正与你们一同坐席，就以自己的诡诈为快乐。他们满眼是淫色，止不住犯罪，引诱那心不坚固的人，心中习惯了贪婪，正是被咒诅的种类。他们离弃正路，就走差了，随从比珥之子巴兰的路。巴兰就是那贪爱不义之工价的先知，他却为自己的过犯受了责备；那不能说话的驴以人言拦阻先知的狂妄。这些人是无水的井，是狂风催逼的雾气，有墨黑的幽暗为他们存留。他们说虚妄矜夸的大话，用肉身的情欲和邪淫的事引诱那些刚才脱离妄行的人。他们应许人得以自由，自己却作败坏的奴仆，因为人被谁制伏就是谁的奴仆。

你们还说：“这是为什么呢？”因耶和华在你和你幼年所娶的妻中间作见证。她虽是你的配偶，又是你盟约的妻，你却以诡诈待她。

你那些可憎恶之事，就是在田野的山上行奸淫，发嘶声，作淫乱的事，我都看见了。耶路撒冷啊，你有祸了！你不肯洁净，还要到几时呢？”

这些作梦的人也像他们污秽身体，轻慢主治的，毁谤在尊位的。天使长米迦勒为摩西的尸首与魔鬼争辩的时候，尚且不敢用毁谤的话罪责他，只说：“主责备你吧！”。但这些人毁谤他们所不知道的。他们本性所知道的事与那没有灵性的畜类一样，在这事上竟败坏了自己。他们有祸了！因为走了该隐的道路，又为利往巴兰的错谬里直奔，并在可拉的背叛中灭亡了。

她的先知是虚浮诡诈的人；她的祭司亵渎圣所，强解律法。
