‘ I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are on the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed proper to Me.

With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.

I reached out my great and powerful arm. I made the earth. I made its people and animals. And I can give the earth to anyone I please.

“ It is I who by my great power and my outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me.

With my great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all its people and every animal. I can give these things of mine to anyone I choose.

“ By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

‘ I have made the earth, mankind, and the animals which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.

I have made the earth, the men and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it unto whom it seemeth right unto me.

By My great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

I have made the earth, the man and the beast that[ are] upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

“ I made the earth and the people and animals on it by my mighty power and great strength, and I give it to whomever I see fit.

‘ I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.

‘ Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.

May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

‘ This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever,

Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it:

He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding.

I have made the earth, And created man on it. I— My hands— stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.

“ You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Thus you shall say to them:“ The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.

To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever—The sun to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever;The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.

Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together.

and saying,“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them,

Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God.All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

And you forget the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth; You have feared continually every day Because of the fury of the oppressor, When he has prepared to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

And:“ You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;

Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.He brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless.Scarcely shall they be planted, Scarcely shall they be sown, Scarcely shall their stock take root in the earth, When He will also blow on them, And they will wither, And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble.“ To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One.Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb:“ I am the Lord, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

“ Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding.Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?“ Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb;When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band;When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors;When I said,‘ This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’“ Have you commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its place,That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?It takes on form like clay under a seal, And stands out like a garment.From the wicked their light is withheld, And the upraised arm is broken.“ Have you entered the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths?Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?Have you comprehended the breadth of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this.“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,That you may take it to its territory, That you may know the paths to its home?Do you know it, because you were born then, Or because the number of your days is great?“ Have you entered the treasury of snow, Or have you seen the treasury of hail,Which I have reserved for the time of trouble, For the day of battle and war?By what way is light diffused, Or the east wind scattered over the earth?“ Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one, A wilderness in which there is no man;To satisfy the desolate waste, And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?From whose womb comes the ice? And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth?The waters harden like stone, And the surface of the deep is frozen.“ Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the belt of Orion?Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season? Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs?Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?“ Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That an abundance of water may cover you?Can you send out lightnings, that they may go, And say to you,‘ Here we are!’?Who has put wisdom in the mind? Or who has given understanding to the heart?Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven,When the dust hardens in clumps, And the clods cling together?“ Can you hunt the prey for the lion, Or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,When they crouch in their dens, Or lurk in their lairs to lie in wait?Who provides food for the raven, When its young ones cry to God, And wander about for lack of food?

He defeated many nations And slew mighty kings—Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan—And gave their land as a heritage, A heritage to Israel His people.

And when you come near the people of Ammon, do not harass them or meddle with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as a possession.’”

the likeness of any animal that is on the earth or the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air,

Then the Lord said to me,‘ Do not harass Moab, nor contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession.’”

“ For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.”’

And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.

To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him.

And God said,“ See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

“ When you beget children and grandchildren and have grown old in the land, and act corruptly and make a carved image in the form of anything, and do evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,

Yet they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your mighty power and by Your outstretched arm.’

a people as great and numerous and tall as the Anakim. But the Lord destroyed them before them, and they dispossessed them and dwelt in their place,

Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

“ For ask now concerning the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether any great thing like this has happened, or anything like it has been heard.

When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.

Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah.

“ The dead tremble, Those under the waters and those inhabiting them.Sheol is naked before Him, And Destruction has no covering.He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.He binds up the water in His thick clouds, Yet the clouds are not broken under it.He covers the face of His throne, And spreads His cloud over it.He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, At the boundary of light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble, And are astonished at His rebuke.He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.By His Spirit He adorned the heavens; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.Indeed these are the mere edges of His ways, And how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

‘ Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

“ Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.

God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.

“ Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them— the children of Israel.Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
