‘ I have made the earth, mankind, and the animals which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.

With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.

I reached out my great and powerful arm. I made the earth. I made its people and animals. And I can give the earth to anyone I please.

“ It is I who by my great power and my outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me.

With my great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all its people and every animal. I can give these things of mine to anyone I choose.

“ By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

‘ I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are on the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed proper to Me.

I have made the earth, the men and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it unto whom it seemeth right unto me.

By My great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

I have made the earth, the man and the beast that[ are] upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

“ I made the earth and the people and animals on it by my mighty power and great strength, and I give it to whomever I see fit.

‘ I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.

‘ Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,

May you be blessed of the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth.The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, But the earth He has given to the sons of mankind.

This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers, And the decision is a command of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And He grants it to whomever He wishes And sets over it the lowliest of people.”

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,Who made heaven and earth, The sea and everything that is in them; Who keeps faith forever;

This is what God the Lord says, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it:

It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens.

It is I who made the earth, and created mankind upon it. I stretched out the heavens with My hands, And I ordained all their lights.

“ Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

This is what you shall say to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

To Him who made the heavens with skill, For His faithfulness is everlasting;To Him who spread out the earth above the waters, For His faithfulness is everlasting;To Him who made the great lights, For His faithfulness is everlasting:The sun to rule by day, For His faithfulness is everlasting,The moon and stars to rule by night, For His faithfulness is everlasting.

Assuredly My hand founded the earth, And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together.

and saying,“ Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men, of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, to turn from these useless things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them.

Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His heavenly armies!Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light!Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens!They are to praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.

for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities— all things have been created through Him and for Him.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God.All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

That you have forgotten the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? And where is the rage of the oppressor?

And,“ You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of Your hands;They will perish, but You remain; And they all will wear out like a garment,

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to live in.It is He who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.Scarcely have they been planted, Scarcely have they been sown, Scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth, But He merely blows on them, and they wither, And the storm carries them away like stubble.“ To whom then will you compare Me That I would be his equal?” says the Holy One.Raise your eyes on high And see who has created these stars, The One who brings out their multitude by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, Not one of them is missing.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb:“ I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the world.

Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding,Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the measuring line over it?On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone,When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?“ Or who enclosed the sea with doors When it went out from the womb, bursting forth;When I made a cloud its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling bands,And I placed boundaries on it And set a bolt and doors,And I said,‘ As far as this point you shall come, but no farther; And here your proud waves shall stop’?“ Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And made the dawn know its place,So that it would take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked would be shaken off from it?It is changed like clay under the seal; And they stand out like a garment.Their light is withheld from the wicked, And the uplifted arm is broken.“ Have you entered the springs of the sea, And walked in the depth of the ocean?Have the gates of death been revealed to you, And have you seen the gates of deep darkness?Have you understood the expanse of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this.“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,That you would take it to its territory, And discern the paths to its home?You know, for you were born then, And the number of your days is great!Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, And have you seen the storehouses of the hail,Which I have reserved for a time of distress, For a day of war and battle?Where is the way that the light is divided, And the east wind scattered on the earth?“ Who has split open a channel for the flood, And a way for the thunderbolt,To bring rain on a land without people, On a desert without a person in it,To satisfy the waste and desolate land, And to make the seeds of grass to sprout?Does the rain have a father? Or who has fathered the drops of dew?From whose womb has come the ice? And the frost of heaven, who has given it birth?Water becomes hard like stone, And the surface of the deep is imprisoned.“ Can you tie up the chains of the Pleiades, Or untie the cords of Orion?Can you bring out a constellation in its season, And guide the Bear with her satellites?Do you know the ordinances of the heavens, Or do you establish their rule over the earth?“ Can you raise your voice to the clouds, So that an abundance of water will cover you?Can you send flashes of lightning, so that they may go And say to you,‘ Here we are’?Who has put wisdom in the innermost being, Or given understanding to the mind?Who can count the clouds by wisdom, And pour out the water jars of the heavens,When the dust hardens into a mass And the clods stick together?“ Can you hunt the prey for the lioness, Or satisfy the appetite of young lions,When they crouch in their hiding places, And lie in wait in their lair?Who prepares feed for the raven When its young cry to God, And wander about without food?

He struck many nations And brought death to mighty kings,Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan;And He gave their land as an inheritance, An inheritance to His people Israel.

When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not attack them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

a representation of any animal that is on the earth, a representation of any winged bird that flies in the sky,

Then the Lord said to me,‘ Do not attack Moab, nor provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I have given Ar to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

For the Lord your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wandering through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have not lacked anything.” ’

The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every animal of the earth and on every bird of the sky; on everything that crawls on the ground, and on all the fish of the sea. They are handed over to you.Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I have given everything to you, as I gave the green plant.

You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord, He is God; there is no other besides Him.

Then God said,“ Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;and to every animal of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to everything that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so.

“ When you father children and have grandchildren, and you grow old in the land, and you act corruptly, and make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,

Yet they are Your people, and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and Your outstretched arm.’

a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim; but the Lord destroyed them before them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their place,

In time of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

“ Indeed, ask now about the earlier days that were before your time, since the day that God created mankind on the earth, and inquire from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything been done like this great thing, or has anything been heard like it?

When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, When He separated the sons of mankind, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the sons of Israel.

“ This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:‘ The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to rebuild for Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

“ The departed spirits are made to tremble Under the waters and their inhabitants.Sheol is naked before Him, And Abaddon has no covering.He stretches out the north over empty space And hangs the earth on nothing.He wraps up the waters in His clouds, And the cloud does not burst under them.He obscures the face of the full moon And spreads His cloud over it.He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters At the boundary of light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble And are amazed at His rebuke.With His power He quieted the sea, And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent.Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

‘ Honor your father and your mother, just as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well for you on the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Whoever sheds human blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made mankind.

The God who made the world and everything that is in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by hands;

“ Moses My servant is dead; so now arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.Every place on which the sole of your foot steps, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses.
