金銀器皿、共計五千四百、俘囚之眾、自巴比倫上耶路撒冷時、設巴薩攜之而至、

巴比倫王古列元年降詔、使復建上帝室、上帝室中金銀器皿、昔尼布甲尼撒自耶路撒冷之殿所取、置諸巴比倫廟者、古列王取之於彼、以付所立之方伯、名設巴薩、謂之曰、以此器皿、置諸耶路撒冷之殿、建上帝室於其所、

智慧明哲謀畧、無有能敵耶和華者、

取耶和華室及王宮之寶物、悉攜之出、又碎以色列王所羅門所製耶和華殿中諸金器、如耶和華所言、又將耶路撒冷民眾、與牧伯勇士、共萬人、以及匠役鐵工、悉虜之去、除極貧者外、斯土無餘民焉、俘約雅斤與其母、及后妃宦豎、暨國中顯者、自耶路撒冷至巴比倫、又虜武士七千、匠役鐵工一千、皆善戰之壯士、俱攜至巴比倫、巴比倫王立約雅斤叔瑪探雅、代之為王、易其名曰西底家、○

耶和華室中之銅柱、銅座、及銅海、迦勒底人咸碎之、而攜其銅至巴比倫、其釜鏟剪盂匙、及諸銅器、供事所用者、悉攜之去、其杯爐盂鼎、燈臺匙碗、金製者取其金、銀製者取其銀、侍衛長悉攜之去、又攜去所羅門為耶和華室、所製二銅柱、及一銅海、與座下銅牛十二、此諸器之銅、未權其輕重、柱高十八肘、圍十二肘、其中空、厚四指、

元年、我但以理閱書所載、知耶和華諭先知耶利米之言、耶路撒冷荒蕪、歷七十年乃滿、

正月朔、自巴比倫啟行、蒙其上帝之祐、五月朔、至耶路撒冷、

必安然而逝、人必為爾焚物、如為爾之列祖先王然、亦為爾哀悼曰、哀哉我主、耶和華曰、我已言之矣、

應耶和華藉耶利米口所言、斯土享其安息、蓋地荒蕪、得其安息、盈七十年、○波斯王古列元年、耶和華使藉耶利米口所言得應、感波斯王古列之心、宣告通國、且書之曰、波斯王古列云、天上上帝耶和華、以天下萬國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷、為之建室、爾中凡為其民者可上、願其上帝耶和華偕之、波斯王古列元年、耶和華使藉耶利米口所言得應、感波斯王古列之心、宣告通國、且書之曰、波斯王古列云、天上上帝耶和華、以天下萬國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷、為之建室、居耶路撒冷、以色列之上帝耶和華、誠為上帝、爾中凡為其民者、可上猶大之耶路撒冷、為之建室、願其上帝偕之、所遺餘民、居於何處、是處之人、為在耶路撒冷上帝之室、樂輸禮物而外、當以金銀財貨牲牷助之、於是猶大及便雅憫族長、與祭司利未人、凡為上帝所感、欲上耶路撒冷建耶和華室者、咸起、

惟自高而抗天上之主、取其室中之器、至於爾前、爾與大臣后妃、用以飲酒、頌美金銀銅鐵木石之神、即無見無聞無知者、至於掌爾氣息、定爾道途之上帝、則不尊榮之、

伯沙撒王為其大臣千人、設具盛筵、對之飲酒、伯沙撒暢飲之際、命取其父尼布甲尼撒自耶路撒冷殿中、所取之金銀器皿、王及大臣后妃、以之而飲、遂取自耶路撒冷上帝殿中、所取之金器至、王及大臣后妃、以之而飲、彼眾飲酒、頌讚金銀銅鐵木石之神、

故上帝使迦勒底王來攻之、以刃戮其丁壯於其聖室、不恤幼男少女、老人白叟、俱付其手、上帝室中大小器皿、以及寶物、並王與牧伯之寶物、悉攜至巴比倫、
