殺身而不能殺魂者、勿懼、惟能殺身及魂於地獄者、甚可懼也、

畏威而不敢赴義、必陷乎罪、畏耶和華者必得護衛。

得生命者、反喪之、為我而喪生命者、反得之、

亞哈以以利亞殺其先知、及凡所為、告耶洗別。耶洗別遣人告以利亞曰、如於明日斯時、我不殺爾、若爾殺彼者、則願上帝降罰於我。以利亞聞此、則遁逃以保命、至猶大之別是巴、而留其僕。

我命幾絕、猶不忘爾律例兮、
