Now reform your ways and your actions and obey the Lord your God. Then the Lord will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you.

So change the way you live and act. Obey the Lord your God. Then he won’t do what he said he would. He won’t bring on you the trouble he said he would bring.

Now therefore mend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the Lord your God, and the Lord will relent of the disaster that he has pronounced against you.

But if you stop your sinning and begin to obey the Lord your God, he will change his mind about this disaster that he has announced against you.

So now, correct your ways and deeds, and obey the LORD your God so that he might relent concerning the disaster he had pronounced against you.

彼或聽從、各轉離其惡途、俾我回意、不以我因其惡、所欲施行之災降之、

猶大王希西家、及猶大眾、豈致之於死乎、王非寅畏耶和華、而求其恩、致耶和華回意、不降所言之災乎、今我行此、乃自害己命耳、

禱耶和華曰、耶和華歟、我在故土、非言此乎、故亟逃往他施、蓋我知爾為仁慈矜憫之上帝、遲於發怒、富有恩惠、回意不降其災、

彼或回心轉意、遺福於後、以為素祭灌祭、奉於爾上帝耶和華、亦未可知、○

如爾願之而順從、則可食地之美產、

我亦遣我僕諸先知、夙興而遣之曰、爾各轉離惡途、改正其行、不從他神而服事之、則得居於我所錫爾、及爾列祖之地、惟爾不側耳以聽、不從我言、

耶和華見其民之力已廢、被束者、自由者、靡有孑遺、必為其民伸冤、為其僕回意、

爾告之曰、主耶和華云、我指己生而誓、惡人死亡、我所不悅、惟悅惡人轉離其道、而得生存、以色列家乎、爾其回轉、回轉、離爾惡途、何為自取死亡、

以色列歟、爾因罪而顚覆、當歸爾之上帝耶和華、以言歸耶和華曰、宥我諸愆、以恩納我、我則以言代犢、奉獻於爾、我不恃亞述之救援、不復乘馬、不復謂我手所造者曰、爾為我神、孤兒必蒙矜憫於爾耶和華、我將醫其悖逆、厚加眷愛、蓋我怒已轉離之、

耶和華乃回意、不降禍於其民、○

作惡之輩、當離其途、不義之人、當易其念、歸於耶和華、彼必恤之、歸於我上帝、彼必普施赦宥、

及其完全、則為凡順服之者永救之原、

耶利米曰、必不付爾、求爾循我所傳耶和華之命、爾則獲益、而存生命、

庶猶大家得聞我所欲降之災、則各轉離惡途、致我赦其愆尤罪戾、

如爾仍居斯土、我必建爾而不毀之、植爾而不拔之、昔我降災於爾、今回厥意焉、

耶和華既為興起士師、則偕之拯民於敵手、至終其世、蓋耶和華見民受人虐迫而哀歎、乃回其意、
