說：「你們各人要回轉離開各人的壞行徑，離開你們敗壞之行為，住在永恆主從古時所賜給你們和你們列祖的土地，直到永遠；

彼曰、當各轉離邪途惡行、居於耶和華錫爾及爾祖之地、自昔迄於永久、

先知曰、凡爾有眾、當悛厥惡、革其非心、則可恆居於耶和華所賜爾祖及爾之地。

彼先知曰、爾當各離惡道、各去惡行、則可居於主所賜爾及爾列祖之地、永世靡暨、

They said,“ Turn now, each of you, from your evil ways and your evil practices, and you can stay in the land the Lord gave to you and your ancestors for ever and ever.

They said,‘ Each of you must turn from your evil ways and practices. Then you can stay in the land forever. It’s the land the Lord gave you and your people of long ago.

saying,‘ Turn now, every one of you, from his evil way and evil deeds, and dwell upon the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever.

Each time the message was this:‘ Turn from the evil road you are traveling and from the evil things you are doing. Only then will I let you live in this land that the Lord gave to you and your ancestors forever.

He announced,‘ Turn, each of you, from your evil way of life and from your evil deeds. Live in the land the LORD gave to you and your ancestors long ago and forever.

saying,‘ Turn now, everyone from his evil way and from the evil of your deeds, and live on the land which the Lord has given to you and your forefathers forever and ever;

They said,‘ repent now everyone of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers forever and ever.

saying, Return ye now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that Jehovah hath given unto you and to your fathers, from of old and even for evermore;

He announced,‘ Turn, each of you, from your evil way of life and from your evil deeds. Live in the land the Lord gave to you and your ancestors long ago and forever.

They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:

He said through them,‘ Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and stop doing the evil things you are doing. If you do, I will allow you to continue to live here in the land that I gave to you and your ancestors as a lasting possession.

saying,“ Return now everyone from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that Yahweh has given to you and to your fathers, from of old and even forever more.

我便讓你們在這塊我永遠賜給你們祖先的土地上安居。

不要像你們的祖先一樣。以前的先知曾呼喚他們要聽從萬軍之耶和華的話，改邪歸正，停止作惡，他們卻置若罔聞，不予理會。這是耶和華說的。現在你們的祖先在哪裡呢？那些先知能活到永遠嗎？

因此，你去告訴猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民，『耶和華說，我正計劃降災禍懲罰你們。你們要離開罪惡，改邪歸正。』

人和牲畜都必須披上麻衣，眾人要向上帝懇切呼求，改邪歸正，停止作惡。上帝或許會施憐憫，收回烈怒，使我們不致滅亡，也未可知。」上帝看見他們改邪歸正，不再作惡，就憐憫他們，沒有像所說的那樣毀滅他們。

我再三差遣我的僕人——眾先知勸你們改邪歸正，不要追隨、祭拜別的神明，以便你們可以在我賜給你們和你們祖先的土地上安居樂業，你們卻充耳不聞，毫不理會。

我要把你現在寄居的整個迦南賜給你和你的後裔永遠作產業，我也必做他們的上帝。」

這樣，坐大衛寶座的君王及其官員必乘車騎馬和猶大人以及耶路撒冷的居民從城門出入。這城必永遠有人居住。

「所以主耶和華說，『以色列人啊，我必按你們各人的行為審判你們。你們要悔改，痛改前非，使你們不致死在罪惡中。

要趁著還可以找到耶和華的時候尋找祂，趁祂還在附近的時候求告祂。願邪惡的人停止作惡，不義的人除掉惡念。願他們歸向耶和華，祂必憐憫他們；願他們歸向我們的上帝，祂必仁慈地赦免他們。

你要離惡行善，就必永遠安居。

祂把這約定為律例賜給雅各，定為永遠的約賜給以色列。祂說：「我必把迦南賜給你，作為你的產業。」

我先在大馬士革，然後到耶路撒冷、猶太全境和外族人當中勸人悔改歸向上帝，行事為人要與悔改的心相稱。

不！我告訴你們，你們若不悔改，同樣也必滅亡。西羅亞樓倒塌時曾壓死了十八個人。你們以為他們比耶路撒冷其他人更有罪嗎？不！我告訴你們，你們若不悔改，同樣也必滅亡。」

你要告訴他們，主耶和華說，「我憑我的永恆起誓，我絕不喜歡惡人死亡，我更願意惡人改邪歸正，得以存活。以色列人啊，回頭吧！回頭吧！改邪歸正吧！何必自取滅亡呢？」』

耶和華藉著祂的眾先知和先見警告以色列人和猶大人說：「你們要離開惡道，遵守我的誡命和律例，即我吩咐你們祖先遵守並藉著我的僕人——眾先知傳給你們的律法。」但他們充耳不聞，像他們祖先一樣頑固不化，不信靠他們的上帝耶和華，

你們親近上帝，上帝就必親近你們。有罪的人啊，洗淨你們的手吧！三心二意的人啊，潔淨你們的心吧！你們要悲傷、憂愁、痛哭，轉歡笑為悲哀，變歡樂為愁苦。你們要在主面前謙卑，祂必擢升你們。
