“我要从他们中间除掉欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光。

我又要使歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音，推磨的聲音和燈的亮光，從他們中間止息。

我又要止息他們歡喜和快樂的聲音、新郎和新娘的聲音、推磨的聲音和燈的亮光。

我又要止息他們歡喜和快樂的聲音、新郎和新娘的聲音、推磨的聲音和燈的亮光。

我要使他們的歡樂聲、新郎新娘的歡笑聲、推磨聲和燈光都消失。

我也必使歡躍的聲音和喜樂的聲音、新郎的聲音和新婦的聲音、推磨的聲音和燈的亮光、從他們中間都息滅掉。

且我必於其中、絕其歡欣喜樂之聲、新娶者及新婦之聲、旋磨之音、燈火之光、

不聞懽忭之言、新娶者及新婦之音、旋磨之聲不徹於外、燈火之光不耀於內、我使之然。

必使其中、再無欣喜之聲、歡樂之聲、新娶者之聲、新婦之聲、旋磨之聲、亦使再無燈光、

I will banish from them the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, the sound of millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will put an end to the sounds of joy and gladness. I will put an end to the voices of brides and grooms. The sound of grinding millstones will not be heard anymore. And lamps will not be lit anymore.

Moreover, I will banish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the grinding of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

I will take away your happy singing and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard. Your millstones will fall silent, and the lights in your homes will go out.

I will eliminate the sound of joy and gladness from them— the voice of the groom and the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover, I will eliminate from them the voice of jubilation and the voice of joy, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

那时，我必使犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街上，欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，都止息了，因为地必成为荒场。”

我必使你唱歌的声音止息；人也不再听见你弹琴的声音。

弹琴、作乐、吹笛、吹号的声音，在你中间决不能再听见；各行手艺人在你中间决不能再遇见；推磨的声音在你中间决不能再听见；灯光在你中间决不能再照耀；新郎和新妇的声音，在你中间决不能再听见。你的客商原来是地上的尊贵人；万国也被你的邪术迷惑了。”

因为万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：你们还活着的日子在你们眼前，我必使欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，从这地方止息了。

耶和华如此说：“你们论这地方，说是荒废无人民无牲畜之地，但在这荒凉无人民无牲畜的犹大城邑和耶路撒冷的街上，必再听见有欢喜和快乐的声音、新郎和新妇的声音，并听见有人说：‘要称谢万军之耶和华，因耶和华本为善；他的慈爱永远长存！’又有奉感谢祭到耶和华殿中之人的声音；因为我必使这地被掳的人归回，和起初一样。这是耶和华说的。”

因我和我的本族被卖了，要剪除杀戮灭绝我们。我们若被卖为奴为婢，我也闭口不言；但王的损失，敌人万不能补足。”

谕旨中，王准各省各城的犹大人在一日之间，十二月，就是亚达月十三日，聚集保护性命，剪除杀戮灭绝那要攻击犹大人的一切仇敌和他们的妻子儿女，夺取他们的财为掠物。

不要等到日头、光明、月亮、星宿变为黑暗，雨后云彩返回，看守房屋的发颤，有力的屈身，推磨的稀少就止息，从窗户往外看的都昏暗；街门关闭，推磨的响声微小，雀鸟一叫，人就起来，唱歌的女子也都衰微。

我也必使她的宴乐、节期、月朔、安息日，并她的一切大会都止息了。

新酒悲哀，葡萄树衰残；心中欢乐的俱都叹息。击鼓之乐止息；宴乐人的声音完毕，弹琴之乐也止息了。人必不得饮酒唱歌；喝浓酒的，必以为苦。荒凉的城拆毁了；各家关门闭户，使人都不得进去。在街上因酒有悲叹的声音；一切喜乐变为昏暗；地上的欢乐归于无有。城中只有荒凉；城门拆毁净尽。

交给驿卒传到王的各省，吩咐将犹大人，无论老少妇女孩子，在一日之间，十二月，就是亚达月十三日，全然剪除，杀戮灭绝，并夺他们的财为掠物。
