This is what the Lord says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.

The Lord says,“ Do what is fair and right. Save those who have been robbed. Set them free from the people who have treated them badly. Do not do anything wrong to outsiders or widows in this place. Do not harm children whose fathers have died. Do not kill those who are not guilty of doing anything wrong.

Thus says the Lord: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. And do no wrong or violence to the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.

This is what the Lord says: Be fair minded and just. Do what is right! Help those who have been robbed; rescue them from their oppressors. Quit your evil deeds! Do not mistreat foreigners, orphans, and widows. Stop murdering the innocent!

This is what the LORD says: Administer justice and righteousness. Rescue the victim of robbery from his oppressor. Don’t exploit or brutalize the resident alien, the fatherless, or the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place.

惟爾縱心目之欲、貪婪不已、強據虐遇、而殺無辜。

斯邑之人、藐視父母、凌侮旅人、強暴孤寡。

曰人所當為者、言之已彰彰矣、耶和華願爾無他、惟秉公義、矜憫為懷、退抑以事上帝。

昔埃及、以東之民、虐遇猶大族、在猶大地殺戮無辜、故二國必荒蕪變為曠野、

免無辜之血流於耶和華所錫之地、爾可不陷於此罪。如人讎怨同儕、伏而擊之、以致於死、後遁於斯邑、則彼邑之長老、必遣人執之、付於被殺者之戚屬、以償其命。爾勿姑縱、如是可絕殺人之罪於以色列族中、而爾納福。○

爾曹殺人、雖舉手禱告弗輟、我必不俯聞、而遐棄爾。當盥手潔心、滌爾污俗、棄惡歸善、公義是行、受人虐遇者、必加援手、孤子嫠婦、必伸其冤。

如以色列人掠同族、鬻之於人、視若賤役、必死毋赦、如是除惡於爾中。

我萬有之主耶和華曰、當秉公義、矜憫為懷、相待以仁、孤寡賓旅貧乏、俱勿虐遇、友朋之間、勿相謀害、惟彼不從、強項難馴、掩耳不聽、

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必涖臨、降災於爾、凡巫覡行淫之子、妄誓之輩、奪傭人之值、虐遇孤寡、使賓旅不得伸其枉屈、而不敬畏我者、必速降以罰。

惟眷顧孤寡於患難間、處世而自守無玷、是誠虔共、無纖垢於父上帝前、

體則肥胖、容有光華、作惡勝於尋常、孤貧被控不為折中。

奪孤子於母懷、取寠人之衣以為質、

彼也虐遇善士欲殺無辜兮、

爾之君長悖逆乎我、與盜為侶、好賄賂、納苞苴、孤子嫠婦、不伸其冤。

上帝在聖所、孤子蒙眷佑、嫠婦得倚賴兮、

諸方伯庶民、告祭司先知、曰、此人藉我上帝耶和華之名而言、不可殺也。

鄰里界址前人所定、毋行遷徙、孤子田畝、毋行侵奪。

人有訟事、必就刑官、刑官聽訟、以義人為義、以惡人為惡。

以色列族至能之上帝許我曰、必有義主、畏上帝而治人。

聽訟之際、勿行非義、無論貧富、勿狥其私、宜秉大公、以為折中。

目所視則傲慢、口所言則詭譎、手殺無辜、

以正理鞫民、為貧民聽訟兮、王秉厥公、山崗興寶藏、億兆享平康兮、貧乏者流、王拯救之、豪強之輩、王糜爛之、

於爾上帝耶和華所賜爾諸邑、各支派中、當立刑官族長、使其秉公鞫民、毋反其正、毋偏視人、毋受賄賂、蓋賂使明者暗、以直為曲、當循其大公、則可得生、獲爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、

勿欺孤寡、

長者聽訟、為納苞苴、祭司訓民、惟望賞賚、先知圖利、而言未來事、然眾恃耶和華自謂耶和華左右我、必不遘災、

貧者有訟、毋反其正。遠諸偽為、勿殺無辜、毋戮義人、蓋我不釋違義者。毋受賄、蓋賄使明者暗、以直為曲。毋侮旅人、昔汝為旅於埃及、故悉旅人之情況。

為孤寡伸冤、矜恤旅人、賜之衣食。

嫠者使之徒反、孤者去其所恃、

我出入邑門、備位公庭、少者見我而趨避、老者見我而起待、同官肅然無譁、長者拑口、齦閉舌卷。聞我者祝嘏、見我者揄揚、蓋貧乏孤獨、籲呼望救、我無不援手。危者見救而祝謝、嫠者見助而欣喜、我以仁義為衣服、以公正為冠冕、我為瞽者之目、跛者之足、我濟困乏、猶父之慈子、疏者我為之理其事、為惡之人、我折其齒、奪其所噬於口、

如爾改行易為、彼此行義、不虐遇遠人、不害孤寡、不殺無辜、不崇事他上帝、以召禍患、

我耶和華施仁義於天下、言出惟行、以此為悅、如爾識我耶和華、則可自詡。

賓旅孤寡、遭其殺戮兮、

又曰、賓旅孤寡、訟時而反其正者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。
