Some of you live in Jerusalem in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon. You are comfortable in your cedar buildings. But you will groan when pain comes on you. It will be like the pain of a woman having a baby.

It may be nice to live in a beautiful palace paneled with wood from the cedars of Lebanon, but soon you will groan with pangs of anguish— anguish like that of a woman in labor.

我们听到这风声，手脚发软，痛苦万分，如分娩的妇人。

论到犹大王的宫殿，耶和华说：“虽然它在我眼中美如基列，又像黎巴嫩的山峰，但我必使它变成不毛之地，变成杳无人烟的城邑。

他们没有真心呼求我，只是在床上哭号。他们为求五谷和新酒而割伤自己，却背弃了我。

“摩押人啊，你们要离开城邑，住到岩洞里，像鸽子在岩缝里筑巢一样。

从光秃的山头传来声音，是以色列子民哭泣呼求的声音，因为他们走入歧途，忘掉了他们的上帝耶和华。

我要撇下他们，返回我的居所，直到他们知罪来寻求我。在苦难的日子里，他们必恳切地寻求我。”来吧，让我们归向耶和华！祂撕裂我们，也必医治我们；祂击打我们，也必为我们裹伤。

你这栖身在石缝间、盘踞在高山上的民族啊，你令人惊惧、心高气傲，其实只是自欺。尽管你像老鹰在高处搭窝，我也必把你拉下来。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“我听见惊恐不安的喊叫声。你们去问问，男人能分娩吗？为什么我看见男人们都双手捂着肚子，好像分娩的妇人脸色铁青呢？

巴兰又观看基尼人，并以诗歌预言说：“虽然你的居所坚固，你的巢筑在峭壁，

“为自己的家积蓄不义之财、在高处搭窝躲避灾祸的人啊，你们有祸了！

黎巴嫩啊，打开你的门吧，好让火焰吞噬你的香柏树。松树啊，哀号吧，因为香柏树已经倒下，挺拔的树木已被毁坏。巴珊的橡树啊，哀号吧，因为茂密的树林已被砍倒。

耶和华说，耶路撒冷啊，你坐落在山谷之上，如平原的磐石，自以为无人能攻击你，无人能闯入你的住处。但我要攻击你，

即使你如鹰高飞，在星辰间筑巢，我也必把你拉下来。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“那时，以色列人要与犹大人一同哭着来寻求他们的上帝耶和华。他们必打听前往锡安的路，朝锡安走去。他们必凭不会被遗忘的永恒之约归附耶和华。

即使他们挖洞钻进阴间，我也要把他们揪出来；即使他们爬上高天，我也要把他们拉下来；
