Sing to the Lord! Give praise to the Lord! He rescues the life of the needy from the hands of the wicked.

Sing to the Lord, you people! Give praise to him! He saves the lives of people in need. He saves them from the power of sinful people.

Sing to the Lord; praise the Lord! For he has delivered the life of the needy from the hand of evildoers.

Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD, for he rescues the life of the needy from evil people.

Sing to the Lord, praise the Lord! For He has saved the soul of the needy one From the hand of evildoers.

Sing unto Jehovah, praise ye Jehovah; for he hath delivered the soul of the needy from the hand of evil- doers.

In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.

But I will give repeated thanks to the Lord, praising him to everyone.For he stands beside the needy, ready to save them from those who condemn them.

For the Lord hears the cries of the needy; he does not despise his imprisoned people.

But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. For the oppressive acts of ruthless people are like a storm beating against a wall,

Then I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be glad because he rescues me.With every bone in my body I will praise him:“ Lord, who can compare with you? Who else rescues the helpless from the strong? Who else protects the helpless and poor from those who rob them?”Malicious witnesses testify against me. They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about.

Help him to defend the poor, to rescue the children of the needy, and to crush their oppressors.

Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and drag you into court?
