我的百姓竟忘记我，向假神烧香，使他们在所行的路上，在古道上绊跌，使他们行没有修筑的斜路，

我的百姓竟忘记我，向那虚无的神明烧香，它们使百姓在所行的路上、在古道上绊跌，去行未修筑的斜路，

我的百姓竟忘记我，向那虚无的神明烧香，它们使百姓在所行的路上、在古道上绊跌，去行未修筑的斜路，

然而，我的子民却把我抛诸脑后，向虚无的神明烧香，偏离古道，在歧途上绊绊跌跌。

但我的子民竟忘记我，向虚无的偶像烧香，以致他们在自己的路上、在古道上绊倒，行走小路，不是修建过的大道。

我的百姓竟忘記我，向假神燒香，使他們在所行的路上，在古道上絆跌，使他們行沒有修築的斜路，

我的百姓竟忘記我，向那虛無的神明燒香，它們使百姓在所行的路上、在古道上絆跌，去行未修築的斜路，

我的百姓竟忘記我，向那虛無的神明燒香，它們使百姓在所行的路上、在古道上絆跌，去行未修築的斜路，

然而，我的子民卻把我拋諸腦後，向虛無的神明燒香，偏離古道，在歧途上絆絆跌跌。

但我的子民竟忘記我，向虛無的偶像燒香，以致他們在自己的路上、在古道上絆倒，行走小路，不是修建過的大道。

然而我人民竟忘記了我，去向虛空的神燻祭，在他們的路上、往古的路途上、絆跌，去行偏的路徑，不是填高的道路，

惟我民忘我、焚香於虛無之物、蹶於故轍、致行未築之路、

我民忘予、焚香以敬偶像、舍平坦之舊道、而不由、行崎嶇之僻路、而顛趾。

我民忘我、焚香於虛無之神、人使之蹶於其道、即舊道、使行未平治之途、

Yet my people have forgotten me; they burn incense to worthless idols, which made them stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths. They made them walk in byways, on roads not built up.

But my people have forgotten me. They burn incense to worthless gods. Their gods made them trip and fall as they walked on the old paths. They made them use side roads instead of roads that were built up.

But my people have forgotten me; they make offerings to false gods; they made them stumble in their ways, in the ancient roads, and to walk into side roads, not the highway,

But my people are not so reliable, for they have deserted me; they burn incense to worthless idols. They have stumbled off the ancient highways and walk in muddy paths.

Yet my people have forgotten me. They burn incense to worthless idols that make them stumble in their ways on the ancient roads, and make them walk on new paths, not the highway.

For My people have forgotten Me, They burn incense to worthless gods. And they have stumbled in their ways, In the ancient roads, To walk on paths, Not on a highway,

“ Because My people have forgotten Me, They have burned incense to worthless idols. And they have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, From the ancient paths, To walk in pathways and not on a highway,

For my people have forgotten me, they have burned incense to false gods; and they have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in bypaths, in a way not cast up;

Yet My people have forgotten Me. They burn incense to false idols that make them stumble in their ways on the ancient roads and walk on new paths, not the highway.

Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways[ from] the ancient paths, to walk in paths,[ in] a way not cast up;

Yet my people have forgotten me and offered sacrifices to worthless idols! This makes them stumble along in the way they live and leave the old reliable path of their fathers. They have left them to walk in bypaths, in roads that are not smooth and level.

For my people have forgotten me. They have burned incense to false gods. They have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in byways, in a way not built up,

耶和华如此说：“你们当站在路上察看，访问古道，哪是善道，便行在其间；这样，你们心里必得安息。他们却说：‘我们不行在其间。’

耶和华要说：“你们修筑修筑，预备道路，将绊脚石从我百姓的路中除掉。”

处女岂能忘记她的妆饰呢？新妇岂能忘记她的美衣呢？我的百姓却忘记了我无数的日子！

先知越发招呼他们，他们越发走开，向诸巴力献祭，给雕刻的偶像烧香。

你们却偏离正道，使许多人在律法上跌倒。你们废弃我与利未所立的约。这是万军之耶和华说的。

都是虚无的，是迷惑人的工作；到追讨的时候必被除灭。

因为我的百姓做了两件恶事，就是离弃我这活水的泉源，为自己凿出池子，是破裂不能存水的池子。”

我必追讨她素日给诸巴力烧香的罪；那时她佩带耳环和别样妆饰，随从她所爱的，却忘记我。这是耶和华说的。”

那些住在埃及地巴忒罗知道自己妻子向别神烧香的，与旁边站立的众妇女，聚集成群，回答耶利米说：“论到你奉耶和华的名向我们所说的话，我们必不听从。我们定要成就我们口中所出的一切话，向天后烧香、浇奠祭，按着我们与我们列祖、君王、首领在犹大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上素常所行的一样；因为那时我们吃饱饭、享福乐，并不见灾祸。自从我们停止向天后烧香、浇奠祭，我们倒缺乏一切，又因刀剑饥荒灭绝。”妇女说：“我们向天后烧香、浇奠祭，做天后像的饼供奉她，向她浇奠祭，是外乎我们的丈夫吗？”

看哪，他们和他们的工作都是虚空，且是虚无。他们所铸的偶像都是风，都是虚的。”

耶和华以色列的盼望啊，凡离弃你的必致蒙羞。耶和华说：“离开我的，他们的名字必写在土里，因为他们离弃我这活水的泉源。”

耶和华说：这是你所当得的，是我量给你的份；因为你忘记我，倚靠虚假。

“在净光的高处听见人声，就是以色列人哭泣恳求之声，乃因他们走弯曲之道，忘记耶和华他们的神。

耶和华啊，你是我的力量，是我的保障；在苦难之日是我的避难所。列国人必从地极来到你这里，说：“我们列祖所承受的，不过是虚假，是虚空无益之物。

无论是吃肉是喝酒，是什么别的事，叫弟兄跌倒，一概不做才好。

万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：你们和你们的妻都口中说、手里做，说：‘我们定要偿还所许的愿，向天后烧香、浇奠祭。’现在你们只管坚定所许的愿而偿还吧！

因为，引导这百姓的使他们走错了路；被引导的都必败亡。

至于我的百姓，孩童欺压他们，妇女辖管他们。我的百姓啊，引导你的使你走错，并毁坏你所行的道路。

你们当从门经过经过，预备百姓的路；修筑修筑大道，捡去石头，为万民竖立大旗，

他就可以不孝敬父母。’这就是你们藉着遗传，废了神的诫命。

又建筑巴力的邱坛，好在火中焚烧自己的儿子，作为燔祭献给巴力。这不是我所吩咐的，不是我所提说的，也不是我心所起的意。

你自己的恶必惩治你；你背道的事必责备你。由此可知可见，你离弃耶和华你的神，不存敬畏我的心，乃为恶事，为苦事。这是主万军之耶和华说的。”
