當是時主所殺戮者屍骸遍有、自地此極、至地彼極、人不為舉哀、不收殮、不葬埋、視若糞壤在田、

皆滅亡在音多珥、屍骸皆成地上之糞、

爾耶利米當告之曰、主如是云、人之屍骸、遍偃各處、猶如糞壤於田、亦若被遺之禾束、在刈者之身後、無人拾之、○

我必使人窘困、亂行若瞽者、因彼獲罪於主、故其血必流、視若塵埃、其身軀必成如糞壤、

我見一天使立於日中、向空中飛鳥大聲呼曰、來、集於至大天主之盛筵、食君王之肉、將帥之肉、勇士之肉、馬及乘馬者之肉、自主者、為奴者、無論大小、皆食其肉、

祭司被刃殺戮、嫠婦亦不哀哭、

爾民三分之一、必死於疫癘、亡於饑饉在爾中、三分之一、必殞於鋒刃在爾四圍、三分之一、我必散之四方、我亦拔刃追襲於後、

主曰、當是時人將以猶大諸王之骨、與其侯伯之骨、祭司之骨、先知之骨、及耶路撒冷居民之骨、悉出其墓、擲於地、為日月及天上眾星所照、或作陳列於日月及天之眾星前日月眾星、即彼昔所愛所奉所向所拜者、其骨不殮不葬、必在地視為糞壤、此惡族所遺之餘民、我驅逐之散於各處、在彼惟願死不願生、此乃萬有之主所言、

遂返告耶戶、耶戶曰、此應主藉其僕提斯比人以利亞所言者、云、耶洗別必在耶斯烈田、為犬所食、耶洗別之屍在耶斯烈田、如糞在田、甚至人不得指之曰、是乃耶洗別也、

故主震怒己民、舉手擊之、使山嶺震動、其屍如糞土、遍於街衢、雖然、主怒猶未息也、主手仍不縮也、

主又曰、我決意降之以禍、不降之以福、凡在伊及之猶大人、必亡於鋒刃饑饉、殲滅殆盡、

主如是云、必入喪家、勿往哀哭弔唁、我不使斯民復享平康、不復施恩惠、發憐憫、此乃主所言、無論大小、皆死於此地、無人葬埋、人不為其哀哭、不為其割身、不為其薙髮、人有喪、無人為之設席以弔唁、人喪父或喪母、無人飲之酒以慰藉、

惟爾人子、主天主如是云、爾告各類飛鳥、及諸野獸、曰、我為爾大行殺戮於以色列山岡、爾當聚集、至自四方、食肉飲血、食勇士之肉、飲國君之血、得食牡綿羊與羔、牡山羊與牛、俱肥牲出自巴珊、我為爾行殺戮、爾得飽食其脂、酣飲其血、爾在我席必饜飫、食馬與乘者、勇士及一切戰士、此乃主天主所言、

故我降禍於耶羅波安之家、凡屬耶羅波安之男、或主、或作已長大之人或僕、或作未長大之人悉絕之於以色列人中、必盡除耶羅波安之家、如人之盡除糞穢然、凡屬耶羅波安者、死於城邑、必為犬所食、死於田野、必為空中鳥所食、此乃主所言、

如一宅之中、猶留十人、亦必死亡、死人之親族、將焚其屍者、欲於室中取其骸骨、問室中之人曰、尚有人在爾所否、彼曰、無有、此人曰、爾當緘默、不可稱主之名、

論及耶洗別、主曰、犬必食耶洗別於耶斯烈城側、凡屬亞哈者、死於城邑、必為犬所食、死於田野、必為空中鳥所食、

主如是云、爾曹不聽我、不願宣告釋爾同族同國之人、今我宣告爾、必使使或作任爾遭鋒刃、饑饉、疫癘、使爾受天下萬國之凌虐、

猶大遺民、執意往居伊及者、我必除之、使之滅沒殞亡於伊及地、必遭鋒刃饑饉而滅、自小至大、悉死於鋒刃饑饉、受咒詛、令人驚駭、被詈罵、受羞辱、

今主論彼先知如是云、彼託我名預言、我未嘗遣之、彼曰、斯地必無鋒刃饑饉之災、彼先知必因鋒刃饑饉而滅、聽其預言之民、必遭鋒刃饑饉之災、屍擲耶路撒冷街衢、無人葬埋、妻室子女皆然、蓋我必循其惡而報之、
