先知曰、主歟、主賜我以力、護我如鞏固之城、我遇難之日、就主蒙庇、異邦人自地極而來、歸誠於主、曰、我祖所承受於古、皆浮偽虛無、毫無裨益、

Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say,“ Our ancestors possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good.

Lord, you give me strength. You are like a fort to me. When I’m in trouble, I go to you for safety. The nations will come to you from one end of the earth to the other. They will gather together and say,“ Our people of long ago didn’t own anything except statues of gods. The statues were worthless. They didn’t do them any good.

O Lord, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in the day of trouble, to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth and say:“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, worthless things in which there is no profit.

Lord, you are my strength and fortress, my refuge in the day of trouble! Nations from around the world will come to you and say,“ Our ancestors left us a foolish heritage, for they worshiped worthless idols.

LORD, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in a time of distress, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and they will say,“ Our ancestors inherited only lies, worthless idols of no benefit at all.”

O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say,“ Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”

O Jehovah, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nought but lies, even vanity and things wherein there is no profit.

Lord, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in a time of distress, the nations will come to You from the ends of the earth, and they will say,“ Our fathers inherited only lies, worthless idols of no benefit at all.”

O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and[ things] wherein[ there is] no profit.

Then I said,“ LORD, you give me strength and protect me. You are the one I can run to for safety when I am in trouble. Nations from all over the earth will come to you and say,‘ Our ancestors had nothing but false gods– worthless idols that could not help them at all.

Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and will say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.

“ I love You, Lord, my strength.”The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

For You have been a stronghold for the helpless, A stronghold for the poor in his distress, A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the breath of the ruthless Is like a rain storm against a wall.

He says,“ It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the protected ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Every person is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, For his cast metal images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.They are worthless, a work of mockery; At the time of their punishment they will perish.

Who has fashioned a god or cast an idol to no benefit?

“ The Lord of armies says this:‘ It will yet turn out that peoples will come, that is, the inhabitants of many cities.The inhabitants of one city will go to another, saying,“ Let’s go at once to plead for the favor of the Lord, and to seek the Lord of armies; I also will go.”So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the Lord of armies in Jerusalem, and to plead for the favor of the Lord.’The Lord of armies says this:‘ In those days ten people from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying,“ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” ’ ”

“ Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

All nations whom You have made will come and worship before You, Lord, And they will glorify Your name.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations will worship before You.For the kingdom is the Lord’s And He rules over the nations.All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship, All those who go down to the dust will kneel before Him, Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.A posterity will serve Him; It will be told of the Lord to the coming generation.

The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.

Do not be a terror to me; You are my refuge in a day of disaster.

And it will come about in the last days That the mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, And the peoples will stream to it.Many nations will come and say,“ Come and let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord And to the house of the God of Jacob, So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For from Zion will go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say to the Lord,“ My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”

Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.And many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go out from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

And it shall be in those days when you become numerous and are fruitful in the land,” declares the Lord,“ they will no longer say,‘ The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ And it will not come to mind, nor will they remember it, nor miss it, nor will it be made again.At that time they will call Jerusalem‘ The Throne of the Lord,’ and all the nations will assemble at it, at Jerusalem, for the name of the Lord; and they will no longer follow the stubbornness of their evil heart.

For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name shall be great among the nations, and in every place frankincense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name shall be great among the nations,” says the Lord of armies.

“ And many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of armies has sent Me to you.

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle;My faithfulness and my fortress, My stronghold and my savior, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”

He alone is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken.

They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.Then on that day The nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal flag for the peoples; And His resting place will be glorious.

God is our refuge and strength, A very ready help in trouble.

Certainly the hills are a deception, Commotion on the mountains. Certainly in the Lord our God Is the salvation of Israel.

The Lord of armies is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah

The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like deer’s feet, And has me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;and they* cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

They are like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot walk! Do not fear them, For they can do no harm, Nor can they do any good.”

Messengers will come from Egypt; Cush will quickly stretch out her hands to God.

For on the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; He will hide me in the secret place of His tent; He will lift me up on a rock.

The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.

Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in an exhausted land.

knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers,

May he also rule from sea to sea, And from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.May the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust.May the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring gifts; May the kings of Sheba and Seba offer tributes.And may all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.For he will save the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.

“ What benefit is a carved image when its maker has carved it, Or a cast metal image, a teacher of falsehood? For its maker trusts in his own handiwork When he fashions speechless idols.Woe to him who says to a piece of wood,‘ Awake!’ To a mute stone,‘ Arise!’ That is your teacher? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, Yet there is no breath at all inside it.

Has a nation changed gods, When they were not gods? But My people have exchanged their glory For that which is of no benefit.

The Lord of armies is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah

Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Though I had removed them far away among the nations, and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries where they had gone.” ’

My salvation and my glory rest on God; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.

That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations.May the peoples praise You, God; May all the peoples praise You.May the nations be glad and sing for joy; For You will judge the peoples with fairness And guide the nations on the earth.
