Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again,[ and] thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

耶和华如此说：“你若归回，我就将你再带来，使你站在我面前；你若将宝贵的和下贱的分别出来，你就可以当作我的口。他们必归向你，你却不可归向他们。

主如是云、如爾歸誠、則我使爾歸、立於我前、如爾能以善別於惡、則可代我傳言、則可代我傳言原文作則可成如我口彼當歸爾、爾勿歸彼、

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.

So the Lord says to Jeremiah,“ If you turn away from your sins, I will heal you. And then you will be able to serve me. Speak words that are worthy, not worthless. Then you will be speaking for me. Let these people turn to you. But you must not turn to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.

This is how the Lord responds:“ If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: If you return, I will take you back; you will stand in my presence. And if you speak noble words, rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. It is they who must return to you; you must not return to them.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says:“ If you return, then I will restore you— You will stand before Me; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They, for their part, may turn to you, But as for you, you are not to turn to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ If you return, Then I will bring you back; You shall stand before Me; If you take out the precious from the vile, You shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, But you must not return to them.

Because of this, the LORD said,“ You must repent of such words and thoughts! If you do, I will restore you to the privilege of serving me. If you say what is worthwhile instead of what is worthless, I will again allow you to be my spokesman. They must become as you have been. You must not become like them.

Therefore Yahweh says,“ If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

And they shall teach my people[ the difference] between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed[ difference] between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,[ even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present[ you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be,[ even] he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.

And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they[ are] most rebellious.

Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me,[ yet] my mind[ could] not[ be] toward this people: cast[ them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.

But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver[ thee]. Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of the LORD, which I speak unto thee: so it shall be well unto thee, and thy soul shall live.But if thou refuse to go forth, this[ is] the word that the LORD hath shewed me:

For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But[ his word] was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not[ stay].

And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean[ men].

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

And Elijah the Tishbite,[ who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab,[ As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I[ am] the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I[ am] of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury;[ yet] every one of them doth curse me.The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee[ well] in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and[ that] for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.And I will make[ thee] to pass with thine enemies into a land[ which] thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger,[ which] shall burn upon you.O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable,[ which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar,[ and as] waters[ that] fail?

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we[ him] no more.

Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.

The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said[ to be] bountiful.For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
