永恆主啊，我是向你呼求的；因為有火燒滅了野地的草場，有火燄燒盡了田野的樹木。連田野的走獸也向你發喘；因為有水的溪河都乾涸了，有火燒滅了野地的草場。

你頭上的天必變為銅，你腳下的地必變為鐵。永恆主必將飛塵沙土代替你地上所需要的雨水；塵土必從天上下到你身上，直到你消滅。

因此甘霖停止，春雨不降；你還有妓女面孔，不顧羞恥！

又看見遍地有硫磺、有鹽鹵、有火迹，沒有播種，沒有生產，連草都不長，好像所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁傾覆的景象，就是永恆主在怒氣怒火中所傾覆的，

穀種在耙子底下都萎縮了；倉房淒涼，廩室翻毁，因為五穀令人失望了。

我必挫折你們的勢力所驕矜的；使你們的天像鐵、你們的地像銅；你們必白白用盡力氣，你們的地也不出土產，地上的樹木也不結果子。
