因此永恆主這麼說：論到那些冒我名來傳講的神言人，我沒有差遣他們，而他們還說「這地必不會遭遇刀劍和饑荒」的，那些神言人自己倒要被刀劍和饑荒滅絕呢。

所以耶和华如此说：论到托我名说预言的那些先知，我并没有打发他们；他们还说这地不能有刀剑饥荒，其实那些先知必被刀剑饥荒灭绝。

因此，耶和华这样说：“关于那些借我名说预言的先知，我并没有差遣他们，他们竟说：‘这地必不会有刀剑和饥荒。’那些先知必被刀剑和饥荒灭绝。

故耶和華論託其名而預言之先知曰、我未遣之、彼曰、鋒刃饑饉、必不及於斯土、惟彼先知、必為鋒刃饑饉所滅、

今我頒詔、諭彼偽先知之事、彼未嘗奉我所遣、猶託我名而告民云、斯土必無鋒刃饑饉之虞、彼先知必以鋒刃饑饉殲滅之。

今主論彼先知如是云、彼託我名預言、我未嘗遣之、彼曰、斯地必無鋒刃饑饉之災、彼先知必因鋒刃饑饉而滅、

Therefore this is what the Lord says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying,‘ No sword or famine will touch this land.’ Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine.

So here is what I am saying about the prophets who are prophesying in my name. I did not send them. But they are saying,‘ No war or hunger will come to this land.’ Those same prophets will die because of war and hunger.

Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say,‘ Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I will punish these lying prophets, for they have spoken in my name even though I never sent them. They say that no war or famine will come, but they themselves will die by war and famine!

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, though I did not send them, and who say,‘ There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end.

Therefore this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who are prophesying in My name, although it was not I who sent them— yet they keep saying:‘ There will be no sword or famine in this land’— by sword and famine those prophets shall meet their end!

Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say,‘ sword and famine shall not be in this land’—‘ By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed!

Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, though I did not send them, and who say,‘ There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end.

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

I did not send those prophets, though they claim to be prophesying in my name. They may be saying,‘ No war or famine will happen in this land.’ But I, the LORD, say this about them:‘ War and starvation will kill those prophets.’

Therefore Yahweh says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, but I didn’t send them, yet they say,‘ Sword and famine will not be in this land.’ Those prophets will be consumed by sword and famine.

他們否認永恆主，說：「他沒有甚麼；必沒有災禍會臨到我們；刀劍和饑荒、我們也必不會見到。神言人必成了風；主的話並不在他們裏面；他們所遭受的、必是這樣。」』

他們必須擔當他們自己的罪罰；求問的人的罪罰怎樣，神言人的罪罰也必這樣；

你呢、巴施戶珥啊，你和一切住在你家的人、也必被擄而去，你和一切友愛你的，就是你向他們傳假神言的那些人。你要去的是巴比倫；你就是必死在那裏，必埋葬在那裏。』

所以你們一切將要流亡的，就是我所打發從耶路撒冷到巴比倫去的，你們要聽永恆主的話。萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝論哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底家是這麼說的：「他們是冒我名以虛假傳神言的；看吧，我必將他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中，他必在你們眼前擊殺他們。

但在耶路撒冷的神言人之中我竟見過令人不寒而慄的事：他們居然行姦淫，行虛假事；又加強作壞事者的手，以致無人回轉離開壞事：他們在我面前都像所多瑪，其居民正像蛾摩拉。』因此萬軍之永恆主論到這些神言人是這麼說的：『看吧，我必將苦堇給他們喫，將毒苦水給他們喝；因為有褻瀆上帝的事從耶路撒冷的神言人發出，傳到遍地。』

他們行了可厭惡的事、覺得慚愧麼？不，他們一點也不慚愧，也不知羞恥；因此他們必在仆倒的人中間仆倒；我察罰他們時、他們必致傾覆：這是永恆主說的。』

有充滿着淫婦和不止息的罪的眼睛，餌誘着心不堅固的人，持着那習於貪婪的心。嘿，被咒詛的兒女！他們既離棄了正直的路，就走迷了，一味隨從比珥的兒子巴蘭的路。巴蘭就是那貪愛不義之工錢的，卻因自己的違法受了斥責。不能出聲說話的驢竟用人的聲音發出言論來，攔阻那神言人的瘋狂！這些人呢、是無水的泉源，是暴風催迫的霧氣，有黑暗的幽冥給他們保留着。

但從前在民間竟有了假的神言人呢；照樣子、在你們中間也必有假的教師。這種人必私下引進使人滅亡的派別來，連買他們的主、他們也否認，自己引着迅速快到的滅亡。許多人一味隨從他們的邪蕩，真理的路必因他們的緣故而受謗讟。他們並且要本着貪婪的心、用揑造的話、在你們身上牟取財利。他們之定受處刑從太古以來就沒有懶於執行；他們之定必滅亡並沒有打盹過。

故此永恆主這麼說：「你的妻子必在城中做妓女，你的兒女必倒斃於刀下，你的土地必被測量繩所瓜分；你自己呢、必在不潔淨之地死掉，以色列民一定流亡、離開本地。」』

那獸被逮，那假神言人、就是那在獸面前行過神迹、用神迹迷惑了受獸印記和拜獸像的人的、也和獸一同被逮；這兩個活活地丟在那有硫磺燒着的火湖裏。

於是神言人耶利米對神言人哈拿尼雅說：『哈拿尼雅啊，你要聽；永恆主並沒有差遣你；你、竟使這人民倚靠着虛假。因此永恆主這麼說：「看吧，我必打發你離開塵世；就在今年、你就一定死；因為你說了叛逆永恆主的話。」』就在那年七月間、神言人哈拿尼雅就死了。

米該雅說：『看吧，你進一間儘內屋去藏匿那一天就必看見。』

『你要寄信給所有流亡的人說：「永恆主論尼希蘭人示瑪雅是這麼說的：因為示瑪雅向你們傳神言，而我並沒有差遣了他，他竟使你們倚靠着虛假，故此永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必察罰尼希蘭人示瑪雅和他的後裔；他必沒有一人住在這人民中間得見我所要施行於我人民的福樂，永恆主發神諭說，因為他向永恆主說了叛逆的話。」』
