Look up and see those who are coming from the north. Where is the flock that was entrusted to you, the sheep of which you boasted?

Jerusalem, look up! Your enemies are coming from the north. Where is the flock you were supposed to take care of? Where are the sheep you were so proud of?

“ Lift up your eyes and see those who come from the north. Where is the flock that was given you, your beautiful flock?

Open up your eyes and see the armies marching down from the north! Where is your flock— your beautiful flock— that he gave you to care for?

耶和华这样说：“看哪！有一个民族从北方之地而来，有一大国被激动从地极来到。

就是要兴起迦勒底人，那残忍凶暴的民；他们遍行全地，占领别人的家园。

因此，耶和华以色列的神论到牧养他（“他”原文作“我”）子民的牧人这样说：“你们使我的羊群四散，把它们赶走，并没有看顾它们；看哪！我必因你们的恶行惩罚你们。”这是耶和华的宣告。

耶和华对我说：“必有灾祸从北方发出，临到这地所有的居民。

所以我今天向你们作证，我是清白的，与众人的罪（“罪”原文作“血”）无关。因为神的全部计划，我已经毫无保留地传给你们了。圣灵既然立你们为全群的监督，牧养神用自己的血所赎来的教会，你们就应当为自己谨慎，也为全群谨慎。我知道在我离开之后，必有凶暴的豺狼进入你们中间，不顾惜羊群。

听哪！有风声传来，有大骚动从北方之地而来，要使犹大的城市荒凉，成为野狗的巢穴。

如果你们不听从，我必因你们的骄傲暗暗哭泣；我的眼必痛哭流泪，因为耶和华的羊群被掳去了。

因为我要在这地兴起一个牧人；那些快要丧亡的他不看顾，失散的他不寻找，受伤的他不医治，强壮的他不喂养，他却要吃肥羊的肉，撕掉它们的蹄子。“那丢弃羊群的无用牧人有祸了！愿刀剑落在他的膀臂和他的右眼上；愿他的膀臂全然枯槁，愿他的右眼完全失明！”

田野的百兽啊！你们都来吃吧。林中的百兽啊！你们都要这样。他的守望者都是瞎眼的，都没有知识；他们都是哑巴狗，不能吠；只会作梦、躺卧，贪爱睡觉。这些狗十分贪吃，不知饱足；他们是牧人，但什么都不明白；他们都偏行自己的道路，各从各方求自己的利益。他们说：“来吧！我去拿酒，让我们痛饮烈酒吧！明天必像今天一样，而且比今天还盛大和丰盈。”

“‘因此，你们这些作牧者的，要听耶和华的话：我指着我的永生起誓，我的羊因没有牧人，就成了猎物，作了田野一切走兽的食物。我的众牧者不寻找我的羊；他们只顾牧养自己，却不牧养我的羊。这是主耶和华的宣告。因此，你们这些作牧者的，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华这样说：看哪！我要与众牧者为敌；我必向他们追讨我的羊，使他们不再牧养羊群，也不再牧养自己。我必救我的羊脱离他们的口，不再作他们的食物。

那作雇工不是牧人的，羊也不是自己的，他一见狼来，就把羊撇下逃跑，狼就抓住羊群，把他们驱散了；因为他是个雇工，对羊群漠不关心。
