“ Listen to the terms of this covenant and tell them to the people of Judah and to those who live in Jerusalem.

“ Listen to the terms of the covenant I made with my people of long ago. Tell Judah the terms still apply to them. Tell those who live in Jerusalem that they must obey them too.

耶和華諭我曰、當宣斯言於猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷街衢曰、宜聽此約之言、而遵行之、

宇內咸屬於我、爾果聽我言、守我約、則爾於列國中、特為我業、

今我有意與以色列之上帝耶和華立約、俾其烈怒轉離我儕、

以色列之上帝耶和華云、昔我導爾祖出埃及、脫於奴隸之室、與之立約曰、如爾昆弟希伯來人、見鬻於爾、事爾六年、既屆七年、當釋之自由、惟爾祖不從我言、不側耳以聽、爾曾轉念、行我所悅、宣告自由於鄰里、立約於我前、在我寄名之室、後乃反悔、褻瀆我名、各使所釋自由之僕婢、歸而事爾、仍為僕婢、

王立其所、在耶和華前立約、一心一意順從耶和華、守其誡命、法度典章、以成約書所載之言、

王與猶大人、耶路撒冷居民、祭司先知、及所有民眾、無論長幼、咸上耶和華室、王誦耶和華室中、所得約書之言、俾眾聽聞、王立於柱側、在耶和華前立約、一心一意順從耶和華、守其誡命、法度典章、以成約書所載之言、民亦服從此約、

耶何耶大與民及王立約、必為耶和華之民、

耶何耶大使王及民、與耶和華立約、俾為耶和華之民、又使王與民立約、
