Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

曰、當聽此約之詞、告猶大人、及耶路撒冷居民、

俾告猶大族、耶路撒冷居民、咸聆盟約之言、

爾曹當聽斯約之言、告猶大人及耶路撒冷居民、

“ Listen to the terms of this covenant and tell them to the people of Judah and to those who live in Jerusalem.

“ Listen to the terms of the covenant I made with my people of long ago. Tell Judah the terms still apply to them. Tell those who live in Jerusalem that they must obey them too.

“ Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

“ Remind the people of Judah and Jerusalem about the terms of my covenant with them.

“ Listen to the words of this covenant and tell them to the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem.

“ Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

“ Hear the terms of the covenant I made with Israel and pass them on to the people of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem.

And Jehovah said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be mine own possession from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:

Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Jehovah, the God of Israel, that his fierce anger may turn away from us.

Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,At the end of seven years ye shall let go every man his brother that is a Hebrew, that hath been sold unto thee, and hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.And ye were now turned, and had done that which is right in mine eyes, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:but ye turned and profaned my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had let go free at their pleasure, to return; and ye brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.

And the king went up to the house of Jehovah, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of Jehovah.And the king stood by the pillar, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and all his soul, to confirm the words of this covenant that were written in this book: and all the people stood to the covenant.

And Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, and all the people, and the king, that they should be Jehovah’s people.

And Jehoiada made a covenant between Jehovah and the king and the people, that they should be Jehovah’s people; between the king also and the people.
