你嘉美的谷遍滿戰車，也有馬兵在城門前排列。

有風聲！看哪，敵人來了！有大擾亂從北方出來，要使猶大城邑變為荒涼，成為野狗的住處。

因此，我的怒氣和忿怒都倒出來，在猶大城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上，如火着起，以致都荒廢淒涼，正如今日一樣。

耶和華說：我必吩咐他們回到這城，攻打這城，將城攻取，用火焚燒。我也要使猶大的城邑變為荒場，無人居住。」

必有響聲達到地極，因為耶和華與列國相爭；凡有血氣的，他必審問；至於惡人，他必交給刀劍。這是耶和華說的。萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，必有災禍從這國發到那國，並有大暴風從地極颳起。

「他們若不肯從你手接這杯喝，你就要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說：你們一定要喝！

耶和華如此說：看哪，有一種民從北方而來，並有一大國被激動，從地極來到。

耶和華如此說：「你們論這地方，說是荒廢無人民無牲畜之地，但在這荒涼無人民無牲畜的猶大城邑和耶路撒冷的街上，

願你將忿怒傾在不認識你的列國中，和不求告你名的各族上；因為他們吞了雅各，不但吞了，而且滅絕，把他的住處變為荒場。

敵人在錫安玷污婦人，在猶大的城邑玷污處女。

「耶和華要從遠方、地極帶一國的民，如鷹飛來攻擊你。這民的言語，你不懂得。這民的面貌凶惡，不顧恤年老的，也不恩待年少的。他們必吃你牲畜所下的和你地土所產的，直到你滅亡。你的五穀、新酒，和油，以及牛犢、羊羔，都不給你留下，直到將你滅絕。他們必將你困在你各城裏，直到你所倚靠、高大堅固的城牆都被攻塌。他們必將你困在耶和華－你神所賜你遍地的各城裏。你在仇敵圍困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和華－你神所賜給你的兒女之肉。

耶和華說：以色列家啊，我必使一國的民從遠方來攻擊你，是強盛的國，是從古而有的國。他們的言語你不曉得，他們的話你不明白。
