或以此事告約坦、約坦遂往、立於基利心山巔、大聲呼曰、示劍人、爾聽我言、則天主亦垂聽爾言、

When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and raised his voice and called out. And he said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, lords of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

And when they told[ it] to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

When they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim and lifted up his voice, cried out, and said to them,“ Listen to me, you men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

及至耶和華－你的神領你進入要去得為業的那地，你就要將祝福的話陳明在基利心山上，將咒詛的話陳明在以巴路山上。

「你們過了約旦河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫六個支派的人都要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。

我們的祖宗在這山上禮拜，你們倒說，應當禮拜的地方是在耶路撒冷。」

以色列眾人，無論是本地人、是寄居的，和長老、官長，並審判官，都站在約櫃兩旁，在擡耶和華約櫃的祭司利未人面前，一半對着基利心山，一半對着以巴路山，為以色列民祝福，正如耶和華僕人摩西先前所吩咐的。

我所揀選的禁食不是要鬆開凶惡的繩，解下軛上的索，使被欺壓的得自由，折斷一切的軛嗎？不是要把你的餅分給飢餓的人，將飄流的窮人接到你家中，見赤身的給他衣服遮體，顧恤自己的骨肉而不掩藏嗎？這樣，你的光就必發現如早晨的光；你所得的醫治要速速發明。你的公義必在你前面行；耶和華的榮光必作你的後盾。那時你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：我在這裏。你若從你中間除掉重軛和指摘人的指頭，並發惡言的事，你心若向飢餓的人發憐憫，使困苦的人得滿足，你的光就必在黑暗中發現；你的幽暗必變如正午。

並要在患難之日求告我；我必搭救你，你也要榮耀我。但神對惡人說：你怎敢傳說我的律例，口中提到我的約呢？其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語丟在背後。你見了盜賊就樂意與他同夥，又與行姦淫的人一同有分。你口任說惡言；你舌編造詭詐。你坐着毀謗你的兄弟，讒毀你親母的兒子。你行了這些事，我還閉口不言，你想我恰和你一樣；其實我要責備你，將這些事擺在你眼前。

因為那不憐憫人的，也要受無憐憫的審判；憐憫原是向審判誇勝。

那僕人就俯伏拜他，說：『主啊，寬容我，將來我都要還清。』那僕人的主人就動了慈心，把他釋放了，並且免了他的債。「那僕人出來，遇見他的一個同伴欠他十兩銀子，便揪着他，掐住他的喉嚨，說：『你把所欠的還我！』他的同伴就俯伏央求他，說：『寬容我吧，將來我必還清。』他不肯，竟去把他下在監裏，等他還了所欠的債。眾同伴看見他所做的事就甚憂愁，去把這事都告訴了主人。於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了，你不應當憐恤你的同伴，像我憐恤你嗎？』主人就大怒，把他交給掌刑的，等他還清了所欠的債。

那時，你們必呼求我，我卻不答應，懇切地尋找我，卻尋不見。因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華，

轉耳不聽律法的，他的祈禱也為可憎。

塞耳不聽窮人哀求的，他將來呼籲也不蒙應允。

你們舉手禱告，我必遮眼不看；就是你們多多地祈禱，我也不聽。你們的手都滿了殺人的血。

你又使我的仇敵在我面前轉背逃跑，叫我能以剪除那恨我的人。他們呼求，卻無人拯救；就是呼求耶和華，他也不應允。
