或以此事告約坦、約坦遂往、立於基利心山巔、大聲呼曰、示劍人、爾聽我言、則天主亦垂聽爾言、

When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and raised his voice and called out. And he said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and cried out. And he said to them:“ Listen to me, you men of Shechem, That God may listen to you!

And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, lords of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

And when they told[ it] to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

When they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim and lifted up his voice, cried out, and said to them,“ Listen to me, you men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

耶和華你的神領你進入你要佔領為業之地以後，你就要把祝福擺在基利心山上，把咒詛擺在以巴路山上。

“你們過了約旦河以後，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫等支派的人，要站在基利心山上為人民祝福；

我們的祖先在這山上敬拜神，而你們卻說，敬拜的地方必須在耶路撒冷。”

全體以色列人和他們的長老、官長，以及審判官，都站在約櫃的兩旁，在抬耶和華約櫃的利未支派的祭司前面；無論是寄居的，或是本地人，一半對著基利心山，一半對著以巴路山；正如耶和華的僕人摩西以前所吩咐的，好為以色列民祝福。

我所揀選的禁食不是這樣嗎？不是要鬆開兇惡的鎖鍊，解開軛上的繩索，使被壓迫的獲得自由，折斷所有的軛嗎？不是要把你的食物分給飢餓的人，把流浪的窮困人接到你的家裡，見到赤身露體的，給他衣服蔽體，不可逃避自己的骨肉而不顧恤嗎？這樣，你的光就必突然發出，像黎明的曙光，你的傷口就必快快復原；你的公義就必行在你的前面，耶和華的榮耀要作你的後盾。那時，你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：“我在這裡！”你若從你中間除掉欺壓人的軛，除去指責人的指頭和惡毒的言語，你的心若顧念飢餓的人，使困苦的人得到飽足，你的光就必在黑暗中升起來，你的幽暗必變得如正午。

在患難的日子，你呼求我。我必搭救你，你也必尊敬我。”但神對惡人說：“你怎麼敢述說我的律例，你的口怎麼敢提到我的約呢？至於你，你憎恨管教，並且把我的話丟在背後。你看見盜賊的時候，就樂於和他在一起；你又與行淫的人有分。你使你的口亂說壞話，使你的舌頭編造謊言。你經常毀謗你的兄弟，誣衊你母親的兒子。你作了這些事，我默不作聲；你以為我和你一樣？其實我要責備你，要當面指控你。

因為對不行憐憫的人，審判他們的時候就沒有憐憫；憐憫勝過審判。

那僕人就跪下拜他，說：‘請寬容我，我會把一切還給你的。’主人動了慈心，把那僕人放了，並且免了他的債。那僕人出來，遇見一個欠了他一百個銀幣的僕人，就抓住他，扼著他的喉嚨，說：‘把你欠我的錢還給我。’那和他一同作僕人的就跪下求他，說：‘請寬容我，我會還給你的。’他卻不肯，反而把他帶走，關在監裡，等他把所欠的還清。其他的僕人看見這事，非常難過，就去向主人報告這一切事情。於是主人叫他來，對他說：‘你這個惡僕，你求我，我就免了你欠我的一切。難道你不應該憐憫你的同伴，好像我憐憫你一樣嗎？’於是主人大怒，把他送去服刑，等他把所欠的一切還清。

那時，他們必呼求我，我卻不回答；他們切切尋找我，卻尋不見；因為他們恨惡知識，不選擇敬畏耶和華；

轉身不聽訓誨的，他的禱告也是可厭惡的。

塞耳不聽貧窮人呼求的，他將來呼求，也得不到應允。

所以你們張開雙手的時候，我必掩眼不看你們；即使你們多多禱告，我也不聽；你們的手都沾滿血腥。

你使我的仇敵在我面前轉背逃跑，使我可以殲滅恨我的人。他們呼叫，卻沒有人拯救；就算向耶和華呼求，他也不答應他們。
