When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you.

Jotham was told about it. So he climbed up on top of Mount Gerizim. He shouted down to them,“ Citizens of Shechem! Listen to me! Then God will listen to you.

When it was told to Jotham, he went and stood on top of Mount Gerizim and cried aloud and said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

When Jotham heard about this, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted,“ Listen to me, citizens of Shechem! Listen to me if you want God to listen to you!

When they told Jotham, he climbed to the top of Mount Gerizim, raised his voice, and called to them: Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, and may God listen to you:

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and raised his voice and called out. And he said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

And when they told[ it] to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.

When Jotham heard the news, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim. He spoke loudly to the people below,“ Listen to me, leaders of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!

When they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim and lifted up his voice, cried out, and said to them,“ Listen to me, you men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

耶和华你的神领你进入你要占领为业之地以后，你就要把祝福摆在基利心山上，把咒诅摆在以巴路山上。

“你们过了约旦河以后，西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、约瑟、便雅悯等支派的人，要站在基利心山上为人民祝福；

我们的祖先在这山上敬拜神，而你们却说，敬拜的地方必须在耶路撒冷。”

全体以色列人和他们的长老、官长，以及审判官，都站在约柜的两旁，在抬耶和华约柜的利未支派的祭司前面；无论是寄居的，或是本地人，一半对着基利心山，一半对着以巴路山；正如耶和华的仆人摩西以前所吩咐的，好为以色列民祝福。

我所拣选的禁食不是这样吗？不是要松开凶恶的锁链，解开轭上的绳索，使被压迫的获得自由，折断所有的轭吗？不是要把你的食物分给饥饿的人，把流浪的穷困人接到你的家里，见到赤身露体的，给他衣服蔽体，不可逃避自己的骨肉而不顾恤吗？这样，你的光就必突然发出，像黎明的曙光，你的伤口就必快快复原；你的公义就必行在你的前面，耶和华的荣耀要作你的后盾。那时，你求告，耶和华必应允；你呼求，他必说：“我在这里！”你若从你中间除掉欺压人的轭，除去指责人的指头和恶毒的言语，你的心若顾念饥饿的人，使困苦的人得到饱足，你的光就必在黑暗中升起来，你的幽暗必变得如正午。

在患难的日子，你呼求我。我必搭救你，你也必尊敬我。”但神对恶人说：“你怎么敢述说我的律例，你的口怎么敢提到我的约呢？至于你，你憎恨管教，并且把我的话丢在背后。你看见盗贼的时候，就乐于和他在一起；你又与行淫的人有分。你使你的口乱说坏话，使你的舌头编造谎言。你经常毁谤你的兄弟，诬蔑你母亲的儿子。你作了这些事，我默不作声；你以为我和你一样？其实我要责备你，要当面指控你。

因为对不行怜悯的人，审判他们的时候就没有怜悯；怜悯胜过审判。

那仆人就跪下拜他，说：‘请宽容我，我会把一切还给你的。’主人动了慈心，把那仆人放了，并且免了他的债。那仆人出来，遇见一个欠了他一百个银币的仆人，就抓住他，扼着他的喉咙，说：‘把你欠我的钱还给我。’那和他一同作仆人的就跪下求他，说：‘请宽容我，我会还给你的。’他却不肯，反而把他带走，关在监里，等他把所欠的还清。其他的仆人看见这事，非常难过，就去向主人报告这一切事情。于是主人叫他来，对他说：‘你这个恶仆，你求我，我就免了你欠我的一切。难道你不应该怜悯你的同伴，好像我怜悯你一样吗？’于是主人大怒，把他送去服刑，等他把所欠的一切还清。

那时，他们必呼求我，我却不回答；他们切切寻找我，却寻不见；因为他们恨恶知识，不选择敬畏耶和华；

转身不听训诲的，他的祷告也是可厌恶的。

塞耳不听贫穷人呼求的，他将来呼求，也得不到应允。

所以你们张开双手的时候，我必掩眼不看你们；即使你们多多祷告，我也不听；你们的手都沾满血腥。

你使我的仇敌在我面前转背逃跑，使我可以歼灭恨我的人。他们呼叫，却没有人拯救；就算向耶和华呼求，他也不答应他们。
