因為你們曾說：“我們與死亡立了約，與陰間結了盟；刑罰的鞭子掃過的時候，必不會碰到我們，因為我們以謊言作遮蔽，以虛假作庇護。”所以主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我在錫安放置一塊石頭，是試驗過的石頭，是穩固的基石，寶貴的房角石；信靠的人，必不著急。我要以公平為準繩，以公義為線鉈；冰雹必把謊言的遮蔽沖去，大水必漫過庇護所。”你們與死亡所立的約要廢除，你們與陰間所結的盟必立不住；刑罰的鞭子掃過的時候，你們就必被踐踏。
