願斯民歸我掌握、我必除亞庇米力。又告亞庇米力曰、當益爾軍而出。

惟愿这民归我的手下，我就除掉亚比米勒。”迦勒又对亚比米勒说：“增添你的军兵出来吧。”

但愿这些人民都归在我手下，我好把亚比米勒除掉。”迦勒又对亚比米勒说：“增添你的军队出来吧！”

If only this people were under my command! Then I would get rid of him. I would say to Abimelek,‘ Call out your whole army!’”

If only this people were under my authority! Then I would do away with Abimelech.” And he said to Abimelech,“ Enlarge your army and come out!”

又曰、我願為士師於斯土、凡有訟事、咸詣我所、我必代之剖析。

今當以質質於我主亞述王、則我予爾馬二千匹、爾能使人乘之否。

隱刺、毀謗、怨上帝、狎侮、驕傲、矜誇、機詐、違逆父母、頑梗、背約、不情、搆怨、中無惻隱、

今當以人質於我主亞述王、則我予爾馬二千匹、爾能使人乘之否、不能、曷能禦我主之僕、武士長至微之一乎、然則爾恃埃及、欲得車馬、亦奚以為、

亞馬謝遣使者至以色列王、耶戶孫、約哈斯子、約瞎曰、汝來以決一戰。

飽其欲而自矜、取不義而自足、於耶和華而欺之兮。

以色列王對曰、卸甲之士可以凱歌、披甲之士勿效之。
