我賴使我有力者、凡事能為、

爾當使手倦者堅固、膝弱者壯健、告膽怯者曰、安爾心、毋畏懼、爾之天主必至以復仇、必至以報復、爾之天主必至以復仇必至以報復或作視哉爾之天主臨矣復仇之時已屆天主報復之日已至天主親臨以救爾、

歡然喜樂、守除酵節七日、蓋主使之喜樂、又感亞述王之心、眷顧之、輔助之、建主以色列天主之殿、

主謂我曰、我賜爾之恩足矣、蓋我之能、益顯於人之弱、故我欣然、寧誇我之弱、使基督之能庇我、是以我為基督、以荏弱、凌辱、患難、窘逐、困苦為樂、蓋我弱時反強矣、

約拿單曰、我儕經至是人之所、使彼見我儕、彼若謂我曰、爾曹且止、以待我至就爾、我儕即止於己所、不上就之、若曰、爾曹上此就我、我儕即上、主將以彼付於我手、我儕以此為兆、

掃羅子約拿單起、入林見大衛、勸其賴天主而安心、

營卒謂約拿單及執其兵器者曰、爾曹上此就我、我有一事告爾、約拿單謂執其兵器者曰、可隨我而上、主以彼付於以色列人手、

我將求一女曰、請欹瓶予我飲、彼若云請飲、我亦飲爾駝、則其女為主所定、與主之僕以撒為妻、由此我可知主施恩於我主人、

故天主導之繞道、由曠野向紅海而行、以色列人出伊及地、皆持兵刃器械而出、或作皆列隊而出

兄弟乎、我尚有餘言、爾當賴主、恃其大力而剛健、

我求循其榮之富有、藉其神、使爾中心增力而康強、

彼眾皆欲使我懼、意謂、我必心灰、止息工作、致不得成、主歟、惟求鼓勵我、鼓勵我原文作堅我手○
