聽眾所言、後即遇敵、可強乃志。其田與其僕部喇遂下、至營之極處、近於行伍。

藉着使我刚强的那一位，我一切都能。

你们要坚固发软的手，稳固衰弱的膝；要对那些心里惊慌的人说：“你们要坚强，不要害怕。看哪，你们的神！他的报复将到——他所施行的报应将到；他必亲自来拯救你们。”

但他对我说：“我的恩典是够你用的，因为我的大能在软弱中得以完全。”因此，我反而极其乐意地夸耀我的那些软弱，好让基督的能力遮盖在我身上。所以，为了基督的缘故，我在那些软弱中、凌辱中、艰难中、在逼迫和困苦中，都感到喜悦；因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。

约拿单就说：“看，我们过到他们那里，让他们看见我们。如果他们对我们说：‘站住，等我们过到你们那里！’我们就留在原地，不上他们那里去。如果他们说：‘上我们这里来！’我们就上去，因为耶和华已经把他们交在我们手中了，这是给我们的征兆。”

扫罗的儿子约拿单起身去何列什见大卫，勉励他靠着神坚强，

守军中有人向约拿单和替他拿兵器的喊道：“上我们这里来，让我们教训教训你们！”约拿单就对拿兵器的说：“跟我上去，因为耶和华已经把他们交在以色列手中了。”

我对哪个少女说：‘请放下你的罐子，让我喝点水’；如果那个少女说：‘请喝吧，我也给你的骆驼喝’——愿她就是你为你的仆人以撒指定的那位。这样我就知道你确实向我主人施慈爱了。”

最后，你们要在主里藉着他力量的权能得以刚强。

愿他按照他那荣耀的丰盛，藉着他的灵，以大能使你们内在的人刚强起来；
