得聞敵言、則有勇力、可下攻營、遂攜僕普拉而往、至其營隅、近於行伍、

聽眾所言、後即遇敵、可強乃志。其田與其僕部喇遂下、至營之極處、近於行伍。

我靠著那加給我能力的，凡事都能作。

基甸到了，就聽見一個人正在把他的夢告訴他的同伴，說：“我作了一個夢，夢見一個大麥餅滾入米甸營中，到了帳幕，把帳幕撞倒，帳幕就翻轉朝上了。”他的同伴回答：“這不是別的，這是以色列人約阿施的兒子基甸的刀；神已經把米甸和全營交在他手中了。”基甸聽見了這夢的敘述和夢的講解，就敬拜神；然後返回以色列營中，說：“起來，因為耶和華已經把米甸的軍隊交在你們手裡了。”

你們要堅固無力的手，穩固搖動的膝。又對那些憂心的人說：“你們要剛強，不要懼怕。看哪！你們的神，他要來報仇，來施行報應，他必來拯救你們。”

他們歡歡喜喜地守除酵節七天，因為耶和華使他們歡喜，又使亞述王的心轉向他們，堅固他們的手作以色列神殿的工程。

他卻對我說：“我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力在人的軟弱上顯得完全。”所以，我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱，好讓基督的能力臨到我的身上。因此，我為基督的緣故，就以軟弱、凌辱、艱難、迫害、困苦為喜樂，因為我甚麼時候軟弱，甚麼時候就剛強了。

約拿單說：“我們要過到那些人那裡去，讓他們看見我們。如果他們對我們這樣說：‘你們站住！等我們到你們那裡去。’我們就站在原地，不上他們那裡去。如果他們對我們這樣說：‘你們上到我們這裡來吧！’我們就上去，這就是我們的憑據，因為耶和華已經把他們交在我們的手裡了。”

掃羅的兒子約拿單起身，到何列斯去見大衛，鼓勵他，使他靠神堅強起來，

駐軍中有人應聲對約拿單和替他拿武器的人說：“你們上我們這裡來吧！我們有一件事要告訴你們。”約拿單對替他拿武器的人說：“你跟我上去，因為耶和華已經把他們交在以色列人的手裡了。”

我對哪一個少女說：‘請你放下水瓶來，讓我喝點水。’如果她回答：‘請喝，我也給你的駱駝喝。’願那少女就作你選定給你僕人以撒的妻子。這樣，我就知道你施慈愛給我的主人了。”

所以神領人民繞道而行，走曠野的路到紅海去；以色列人從埃及地上來的時候，都帶著兵器。

最後，你們要靠主的大能大力，在他裡面剛強。

求他按著他榮耀的豐盛，藉著他的靈，用大能使你們內在的人剛強起來，

其實他們眾人是在恐嚇我們，心裡說：“他們的手必軟弱，不能再作這工程，不會完工了！”現在，堅固我的手。
