耶和華帝天下、其臨格時、峰巒頓失、如蠟消融兮、

在彼之前、岡嶺震動、山巒頓失、大地墳起、世人殞亡、

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、

望爾闢穹蒼而臨格、山嶽震動。使仇敵知爾名、列邦戰慄於爾前、猶火焚蒭、如水沸鼎。昔爾行異跡、出我望外、臨格自天、山岡震動。

其時、爾眾來前、立於山下、其山之象幽深立遠、厥火炎炎、至凌霄漢。耶和華由火中諭爾、惟聞其聲、不睹其像、

山巒搖撼、有若牡羊羔羊、以踴以躍兮。

地震天漏、西乃搖撼、在以色列族之上帝前兮、

民見雷迅電閃、角鳴烟障、則畏避遙立、

以上諸言、耶和華山上火中、幽深玄遠之處、以大聲諭眾、無所增益、勒於二碑、賜之於我。爾見遍山晦冥、厥火炎炎、聲由中出、爾既聞之、與族長長老至我前、曰、我之上帝耶和華、顯厥大榮、俾我目睹、我聞其聲、由火中出、今日始知上帝與人言、人尚保其生命。如我仍聽我上帝耶和華之言、則此大火、必燬我身、我將死亡、爾曷為使我死亡乎。
