‘ Let the people of Meroz be cursed,’ said the angel of the Lord.‘ Let them be utterly cursed, because they did not come to help the Lord— to help the Lord against the mighty warriors.’

永恆主的使者說：『你要咒詛米羅斯；大大咒詛其居民；因為他們不來幫助永恆主，不率領勇士幫助永恆主。』

耶和華之使者曰、爾其詛米羅斯、嚴詛其居民、以其不來助耶和華、不助耶和華攻勇士、

米羅斯民不從有能者、以助耶和華、故耶和華之使者曰、必詛米羅斯、詈以厲詞。

主之使者曰、當詛米羅斯、以厲言詛其居民、以其不來以助主之民、不從英雄以助主之民、

‘ Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the Lord.‘ Curse its people bitterly, because they did not come to help the Lord, to help the Lord against the mighty.’

‘ Let Meroz be cursed,’ said the angel of the Lord.‘ Let bitter curses fall on its people. They did not come to help the Lord. They did not come to help him against our powerful enemies.’

“ Curse Meroz, says the angel of the Lord, curse its inhabitants thoroughly, because they did not come to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord against the mighty.

“ Curse Meroz,” says the angel of the LORD,“ Bitterly curse her inhabitants, for they did not come to help the LORD, to help the LORD with the warriors.”

‘ Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the Lord,‘ Utterly curse its inhabitants, Because they did not come to the help of the Lord, To the help of the Lord against the warriors.’

‘ Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the Lord,‘ Curse its inhabitants bitterly, Because they did not come to the help of the Lord, To the help of the Lord against the mighty.’

Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of Jehovah. Curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof, Because they came not to the help of Jehovah, To the help of Jehovah against the mighty.

“ Curse Meroz,” says the Angel of the Lord,“ Bitterly curse her inhabitants, for they did not come to help the Lord, to help the Lord against the mighty warriors.”

Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.

‘ Call judgment down on Meroz,’ says the LORD’s angelic messenger;‘ Be sure to call judgment down on those who live there, because they did not come to help in the LORD’s battle, to help in the LORD’s battle against the warriors.’

‘ Curse Meroz,’ said Yahweh’s angel.‘ Curse bitterly its inhabitants, because they didn’t come to help Yahweh, to help Yahweh against the mighty.’

For after they counted all the people, no one from Jabesh gilead was present.So the assembly sent 12,000 of their best warriors to Jabesh gilead with orders to kill everyone there, including women and children.

But now let my lord the king listen to his servant. If the Lord has stirred you up against me, then let him accept my offering. But if this is simply a human scheme, then may those involved be cursed by the Lord. For they have driven me from my home, so I can no longer live among the Lord’s people, and they have said,‘ Go, worship pagan gods.’

Yet I dare not boast about anything except what Christ has done through me, bringing the Gentiles to God by my message and by the way I worked among them.

For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.

Please forgive me if I have offended you in any way. The Lord will surely reward you with a lasting dynasty, for you are fighting the Lord’s battles. And you have not done wrong throughout your entire life.

As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it.

Cursed are those who refuse to do the Lord’s work, who hold back their swords from shedding blood!

The angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bokim and said to the Israelites,“ I brought you out of Egypt into this land that I swore to give your ancestors, and I said I would never break my covenant with you.

“ Then the King will turn to those on the left and say,‘ Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.

And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

One day Saul said to David,“ I am ready to give you my older daughter, Merab, as your wife. But first you must prove yourself to be a real warrior by fighting the Lord’s battles.” For Saul thought,“ I’ll send him out against the Philistines and let them kill him rather than doing it myself.”

One day she sent for Barak son of Abinoam, who lived in Kedesh in the land of Naphtali. She said to him,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: Call out 10,000 warriors from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun at Mount Tabor.

If anyone does not love the Lord, that person is cursed. Our Lord, come!
