So she said,“ I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.

曰、我必與爾偕往、然爾此行不獲榮顯、蓋耶和華將以西西拉付於婦手、遂起、偕往基低斯、

曰、我誠與爾偕往、然爾雖往、不獲顯榮、蓋耶和華將以西西喇付於婦女之手。底破喇起、偕巴勒往基特。

曰、我必偕爾往、但爾不獲榮於將行之途、因天主必以西西拉付於婦手、底波拉遂起、與巴拉偕往基叠、

“ Certainly I will go with you,” said Deborah.“ But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.” So Deborah went with Barak to Kedesh.

“ All right,” Deborah said.“ I’ll go with you. But because of the way you are doing this, you won’t receive any honor. Instead, the Lord will hand Sisera over to a woman.” So Deborah went to Kedesh with Barak.

And she said,“ I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.

“ Very well,” she replied,“ I will go with you. But you will receive no honor in this venture, for the Lord’s victory over Sisera will be at the hands of a woman.” So Deborah went with Barak to Kedesh.

“ I will gladly go with you,” she said,“ but you will receive no honor on the road you are about to take, because the LORD will sell Sisera to a woman.” So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.

She said,“ I will certainly go with you; however, the fame shall not be yours on the journey that you are about to take, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.

And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding, the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honor; for Jehovah will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

“ I will go with you,” she said,“ but you will receive no honor on the road you are about to take, because the Lord will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.

She said,“ I will indeed go with you. But you will not gain fame on the expedition you are undertaking, for the LORD will turn Sisera over to a woman.” Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.

She said,“ I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the journey that you take won’t be for your honor; for Yahweh will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel. So He delivered them into the hands of plunderers who despoiled them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.

“ Most blessed among women is Jael, The wife of Heber the Kenite; Blessed is she among women in tents.He asked for water, she gave milk; She brought out cream in a lordly bowl.She stretched her hand to the tent peg, Her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; She pounded Sisera, she pierced his head, She split and struck through his temple.At her feet he sank, he fell, he lay still; At her feet he sank, he fell; Where he sank, there he fell dead.

And they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him,“ It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed! You shall have no honor from the Lord God.”

That is not so. But a man from the mountains of Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, has raised his hand against the king, against David. Deliver him only, and I will depart from the city.” So the woman said to Joab,“ Watch, his head will be thrown to you over the wall.”Then the woman in her wisdom went to all the people. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and threw it out to Joab. Then he blew a trumpet, and they withdrew from the city, every man to his tent. So Joab returned to the king at Jerusalem.

Therefore the Lord God of Israel says:‘ I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord says:‘ Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

However, Sisera had fled away on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him,“ Turn aside, my Lord, turn aside to me; do not fear.” And when he had turned aside with her into the tent, she covered him with a blanket.Then he said to her,“ Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty.” So she opened a jug of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him.And he said to her,“ Stand at the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says,‘ Is there any man here?’ you shall say,‘ No.’”Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went down into the ground; for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.And then, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him,“ Come, I will show you the man whom you seek.” And when he went into her tent, there lay Sisera, dead with the peg in his temple.

Then he called quickly to the young man, his armorbearer, and said to him,“ Draw your sword and kill me, lest men say of me,‘ A woman killed him.’” So his young man thrust him through, and he died.
