She sent for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, commands you:‘ Go, take with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun and lead them up to Mount Tabor.

Deborah sent for Barak. He was the son of Abinoam. Barak was from Kedesh in the land of Naphtali. Deborah said to Barak,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, is giving you a command. He says,‘ Go! Take 10,000 men from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun with you. Then lead them up to Mount Tabor.

She sent and summoned Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh-naphtali and said to him,“ Has not the Lord, the God of Israel, commanded you,‘ Go, gather your men at Mount Tabor, taking 10,000 from the people of Naphtali and the people of Zebulun.

One day she sent for Barak son of Abinoam, who lived in Kedesh in the land of Naphtali. She said to him,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: Call out 10,000 warriors from the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun at Mount Tabor.

She summoned Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him,“ Hasn’t the LORD, the God of Israel, commanded you,‘ Go, deploy the troops on Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men from the Naphtalites and Zebulunites?

Now she sent word and summoned Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh naphtali, and said to him,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, has indeed commanded,‘ Go and march to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men from the sons of Naphtali and from the sons of Zebulun.

Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him,“ Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded,‘ Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun;

She sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh Naphtali, and said to him,“ Hasn’t Yahweh, the God of Israel, commanded,‘ Go and lead the way to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

And what shall I more say? for the time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah; of David and Samuel and the prophets:

Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men were they whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.

and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En- hazor,

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee for a light of the Gentiles, That thou shouldest be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,

Hear this, O ye priests, and hearken, O house of Israel, and give ear, O house of the king; for unto you pertaineth the judgment; for ye have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

Out of Ephraim came down they whose root is in Amalek; After thee, Benjamin, among thy peoples; Out of Machir came down governors, And out of Zebulun they that handle the marshal’s staff.And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; As was Issachar, so was Barak; Into the valley they rushed forth at his feet. By the watercourses of Reuben There were great resolves of heart.Why sattest thou among the sheepfolds, To hear the pipings for the flocks? At the watercourses of Reuben There were great searchings of heart.Gilead abode beyond the Jordan: And Dan, why did he remain in ships? Asher sat still at the haven of the sea, And abode by his creeks.Zebulun was a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death, And Naphtali, upon the high places of the field.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth- dor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.

The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

The north and the south, thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon rejoice in thy name.

Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger; Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries, And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgment.

Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the oak of Tabor; and there shall meet thee there three men going up to God to Beth- el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:

Set ye up an ensign upon the bare mountain, lift up the voice unto them, wave the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.I have commanded my consecrated ones, yea, I have called my mighty men for mine anger, even my proudly exulting ones.The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as of a great people! the noise of a tumult of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! Jehovah of hosts is mustering the host for the battle.They come from a far country, from the uttermost part of heaven, even Jehovah, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

As I live, saith the King, whose name is Jehovah of hosts, surely like Tabor among the mountains, and like Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.
