以法蓮山地有一個人屬於拉瑪地、是蘇弗人，他名叫以利加拿，是以法蓮人蘇弗的元孫，託戶的曾孫，以利戶的孫子，耶羅罕的兒子。

他們有案件的時候，就來找我，我便在他們兩造之間施行判斷，使他們知道上帝的律例和法度。』

押沙龍常常清早起來，站在城門路旁；凡有爭訟要去求王判斷的，押沙龍便叫他過來，問他說：『你是屬於哪一城的？』回答說：『僕人是屬於以色列某一族派的。』押沙龍往往對這種人說：『看哪，你的案件有情有理；無奈王沒有委人聽你伸訴。』押沙龍又說：『恨不得我在此地做審判官；凡有爭訟求判斷的人到我這裏來，我可秉公判斷。』若有人走近前來要拜押沙龍，押沙龍總是伸手拉住他，和他親嘴。以色列人凡去見王求判斷的、押沙龍都這樣待他們；這樣、押沙龍就竊奪了以色列的人心。

永恆主這麼說：『在拉瑪聽見有聲音，悲苦痛哭的聲音，是拉結哭她的兒女，不肯因兒女的緣故而受安慰，因為他們不在了。』
