Half drunk by now, the people demanded,“ Bring out Samson so he can amuse us!” So he was brought from the prison to amuse them, and they had him stand between the pillars supporting the roof.

看哪！你们却欢喜快乐，杀牛宰羊，吃肉喝酒，说：“让我们吃喝吧！因为明天我们就要死了。”

但我跌倒的时候，他们却欢喜聚集；我不认识的卑贱人聚集攻击我，不停地撕扯我；他们像宴席上狂妄的讥笑者，向我咬牙切齿。

那些路过的人辱骂耶稣，摇着头，说：“你这个要拆毁圣所、三天内又建起来的人哪，救救你自己吧！你如果是神的儿子，就从十字架上下来吧！”同样，祭司长们也与经文士们和长老们一起嘲笑，说：“他救了别人，却不能救自己！他是以色列的王！现在让他从十字架上下来吧，这样我们就信靠他！他依靠神，如果神喜悦他，就让神现在救他吧！因为他说过‘我是神的儿子。’”与耶稣一起被钉十字架的强盗也同样地责骂他。

信使们被王令催促就出发，而这法令也在苏萨城堡颁布了。那时王与哈曼坐着喝酒，苏萨城却陷入混乱。

用荆棘编了冠冕，戴在他的头上，又把一根芦苇放在他的右手里，然后跪在他面前，戏弄他说：“万岁，犹太人的王！”

到了希律生日的时候，希罗迪娅的女儿在众人面前跳舞，使希律非常喜悦，故此王就起誓承诺，无论她求什么都给她。

因为他们追逼你所击打的人，议论你所击伤之人的痛苦。

伯沙撒酒酣之时，吩咐人把他先王尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的圣殿中取走的金银器皿带来，好让王和他的大臣们、妻子们、妃嫔们都用这些来喝酒。于是人把圣殿——耶路撒冷神的殿中所取走的金器皿带来，王和他的大臣们、妻子们、妃嫔们就用这些来喝酒。

坐在城门口的人谈论我，我成了醉酒之人的歌谣。

当时他们就往他脸上吐唾沫，用拳头打他，也有人用手掌打他，说：“给我们说预言吧！基督！打你的是谁？”

你的仇敌跌倒时，你不要欢喜；他倾倒时，你的心不要快乐；免得耶和华看见，在他眼中看为恶，他就使他的怒气从仇敌身上转消。

另有些人经受了戏弄、鞭打的试炼；还有些人受了捆锁、监禁的试炼；
