參孫非常口渴，就呼求耶和華說：“你既然藉著你僕人的手施行這麼大的拯救，現在我怎可以渴死，落在未受割禮的人手中呢？”

参孙甚觉口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既藉仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，岂可任我渴死、落在未受割礼的人手中呢？”

参孙非常口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既藉仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，现在我要渴死，落在未受割礼的人手中吗？”

参孙觉得非常口渴，便向耶和华呼求说：“你既然借着仆人的手大败敌人，难道你会让我渴死、落在这些未受割礼的人手中吗？”

參孫渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾藉僕手、大施拯救、今將渴死、而陷未受割者之手、

渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾既大拯爾僕、豈容渴死、使陷於未受割禮者之手乎。

參孫渴甚、籲主曰、主使主之僕得如此之大勝、今將渴死、終陷於未受割禮者之手、

Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord,“ You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was very thirsty. So he cried out to the Lord. He said,“ You have helped me win this great battle. Do I have to die of thirst now? Must I fall into the power of people who haven’t even been circumcised? They aren’t your people.”

And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said,“ You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was now very thirsty, and he cried out to the Lord,“ You have accomplished this great victory by the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of these pagans?”

He became very thirsty and called out to the LORD,“ You have accomplished this great victory through your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Then he became very thirsty, and he called to the Lord and said,“ You have handed this great victory over to Your servant, and now am I to die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Then he became very thirsty; so he cried out to the Lord and said,“ You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant; and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?”

And he was sore athirst, and called on Jehovah, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance by the hand of thy servant; and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised.

你僕人不但擊殺過獅子，也擊殺過熊。這個未受割禮的非利士人也必像一隻獅子或熊一樣，因為他向永活的神的軍隊罵陣。”

大衛心裡說：“總有一天，我會死在掃羅的手裡，我倒不如逃奔到非利士人的國土，掃羅對我就會死心，不再在以色列全境尋索我，我就可以逃脫他的手了。”

我們雖然四面受壓，卻沒有壓碎；心裡作難，卻不至絕望，受到迫害，卻沒有被丟棄；打倒了，卻不至死亡。

弟兄們，我們在亞西亞遭受的患難，我們很想讓你們知道。那時我們受到了過於我們所能忍受的壓力，甚至活下去的希望都沒有了，而且斷定自己是必死的了；然而，這正是要我們不倚靠自己，只倚靠那叫死人復活的神。

耶和華啊！求你起來；我的神啊！求你拯救我，你擊打了我所有仇敵的臉頰，打碎了惡人的牙齒。救恩屬於耶和華，願你賜福給你的子民。（細拉）

又因為我所得的啟示太大，恐怕會高抬自己，所以就有一根刺加在我的身上，就是撒但的差役來攻擊我，免得我高抬自己。為了這事，我曾經三次求主，使這根刺離開我。

除了耶和華，誰是神呢？除了我們的神，誰是磐石呢？他是那位以能力給我束腰的神，他使我的道路完全。他使我的腳像母鹿的蹄，又使我站穩在高處。他教導我的手怎樣作戰，又使我的手臂可以拉開銅弓。你把你救恩的盾牌賜給我，你的右手扶持我，你的溫柔使我昌大。你使我腳底下的路徑寬闊，我的兩膝沒有動搖。我追趕仇敵，把他們追上；不消滅他們，我必不歸回。我重創他們，使他們不能起來；他們都倒在我的腳下。你以能力給我束腰，使我能夠作戰；你又使那些起來攻擊我的人都屈服在我的腳下。你使我的仇敵在我面前轉背逃跑，使我可以殲滅恨我的人。

這事以後，耶穌知道一切都已經成就了，為了要使經上的話應驗，就說：“我渴了。”

亞伯拉罕回答：“因為我以為這地方必定沒有敬畏神的人，他們會因我妻子的緣故殺我。

基甸來到約旦河，就過了河；他和與他在一起的三百人雖然都很疲乏，仍然追趕敵人。

你們不要在迦特報道，不要在亞實基倫的街上宣揚，免得非利士的女子歡喜，免得未受割禮之人的女子快樂。

參孫呼求耶和華，說：“主耶和華啊，求你記念我；神啊，求你加強我這一次的力量，只這一次罷了，使我盡一次在非利士人身上報那剜我雙眼的仇！”

埃及人看見你的時候，必會說：‘這是他的妻子’，他們就會殺我，卻叫你活著。請你說你是我的妹妹，使我因你的緣故可以平安無事，我的性命也可以因你的緣故得以保全。”

我好像水被傾倒出去，我全身的骨頭都散脫了，我的心在我裡面像蠟融化。我的精力像瓦片一樣枯乾，我的舌頭緊黏著上顎，你把我放在死亡的塵土中。

我還要再說甚麼呢？如果再要述說基甸、巴拉、參孫、耶弗他、大衛、撒母耳和眾先知的事，時間就不夠了。

大衛問站在他旁邊的人說：“如果有人擊殺這個非利士人，除去以色列人的恥辱，那人會得到怎麼的對待呢？這未受割禮的非利士人是誰呢？竟敢向永活的神的軍隊罵陣？”

雅各經過毗努伊勒的時候，太陽剛剛出來，照在他身上。他因為大腿的傷，跛腳行走。
