As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.

Samson approached Lehi. The Philistines came toward him shouting. Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully on Samson. The ropes on his arms became like burned thread. They dropped off his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.

As Samson arrived at Lehi, the Philistines came shouting in triumph. But the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon Samson, and he snapped the ropes on his arms as if they were burnt strands of flax, and they fell from his wrists.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came to meet him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came powerfully on him, and the ropes that were on his arms and wrists became like burnt flax and fell off.

[ And] when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that[ were] upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

When he arrived in Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they approached him. But the LORD’s spirit empowered him. The ropes around his arms were like flax dissolving in fire, and they melted away from his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then Yahweh’s Spirit came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire; and his bands dropped from off his hands.

參孫感於主之神、下至亞實基倫、殺亞實基倫人三十、褫其衣、以給解隱語者、遂大怒而返父之家、

參孫為主之神所感、雖手無器械、亦以獅裂之、如裂山羊之羔然、不以所行告父母、

掃羅聞言、為天主之神所感、震怒特甚、

教我手能爭戰、使我臂能張銅弓、

主之約匱既至營中、以色列眾大聲號呼、地為之震動、

大利拉遂以新索縛之、曰、參孫、非利士人來執爾、有人伏於內室、參孫遂斷臂上之索、如斷線然、

彼眾圍困我、環繞我、我倚賴主名、必翦滅之、

彼謂我曰、其意即主所諭所羅巴伯云、萬有之主曰、非以勢、非以能、乃以我之神也、非以勢非以能乃以我之神也或作非恃能非恃力乃恃我之神事始能成

豈未獲財均分所掠乎、人各必得一二女子、西西拉必得彩衣、必得彩服、表裏文繡、可戴頸項、又作可飾被擄者之頸

婦使人伏於內室、婦曰、參孫、非利士人來執爾、參孫遂斷其繩、如斷經火之麻縷然、仍不知其力由何而得、

僕即追而擊之、救羔於其口、獸欲害我、我執其鬚、擊而殺之、

非利士民見參孫、頌美其神曰、我敵曾毀我土地、殺我多人、今我神付之於我手、

亦求爾真為我侶者、助彼二婦、彼同我協力傳福音、與革利免、及他人與我同勞者、其名錄於生命書、○
